Black Dog LED PhytoMAX-2 200 | LED Grow Lights | High Yield Full Spectrum Indoor Grow Light with Bonus Quick Start Guide

The 200 is a wee bit smaller form factor than I expected but it packs a punch. It easily covers a 4x4 tent (I have seedlings growing on the perimeter with mature plants directly under the light). The box was beat to hell during delivery but thankfully, this light is packaged extremely well. Inside the box was another box. Inside that box, the light was fully encased in thick styrofoam. Very nice! There was no assembly nonsense. Just attached a pulleys to the sides (included) and plugged it in. Most importantly, the plants love it.

So far so good! Grew the same tomatoes under HID's a few years back and I have to say that these have way more blossoms! 200w led vs 325w hid. The Black Dog is the clear winner. Less heat, less power consumption and more flower production! I can't say how they taste yet, but I'm sure they will be ok. The only negative is the cost of the light. I picked the light up on amazon warehouse with a $200 discount and that's still to high! I hope it lasts several years to make up for the cost. If tomatoes were $300 an oz I guess it would be way worth the price!! LOL!

Package came well packed and double boxed for protection. This is my second led, first being a 300 watt Mars I still use for veg. Man this thing is rediculas for 200 watts. You can feel the heat rays off to the side 3 feet away. Packed some noticable denseness on flowers in 4 days even. You could do 9, 3 gallon fabric pots and easy get a ounce a plant I'm guessing. I missed the blackfriday sale by a few days and black dog offered to give me 20% off my next purchase because of it. how awesome is that!? I was planning on buying another one anyway. The five year warranty tops the purchase off for me. Not to mention the even coverage of light on canopy is great. Should be able to use lower branches because they should pack on weight also. Definitely a big purchase for me for the smallest light but I wanted quality and not to have to worry if my lights go out in a year or two. Guarantee fix for free for five years. Thats alot of plants you can grow.

Meets or exceeds manufactures rated wattage for the 200 watt model. Hands down the best service and warranty in the industry I ran into a issue and management let me know they are the best in the industry and I was in good hands and addressed my issue and did all the leg work to make me a long term customer. If you want a company that backs their product look no further. Nice foot print for the hobbyist or west coast legal grows they have a perfect size for all levels. This is one bright light that will stress and hurt your eyes it’s so powerful. Heat sink is huge fans are super quit. Highly recommend the cool black dog led sunglasses they make a huge difference. Don’t hesitate to pull the trigger on this light.

Best light ever! Grows better flowers than the sun! No JOKE! Been using it for a year, makes me sorry I wasted money trying the cheaper lights. The cheap lights are all piled up in a corner of my basement, burnt out LEDS, bad power supplies. Update: over three years of hard use, Black Dog LED remain the best lights ever!!

This light is much brighter in uv then ir and may be biased towards vegetative growth. It is very quiet and very cool , both big pluses .I bought this to supplement while the Kind is off for repairs .
