We’ve done several of these paw print ornaments before and this was by far the easiest and most satisfying one.

Very easy to use. My senior cat is being helped over to the other side so I wanted to make this before he goes. The ornament size was a little too large to hang on a tree, so I just used a glass to size/cut it instead of using the tool they provided. Worked great!

This was easy to use at home and didn't make a big mess. Our sweet dog passed away and this has given us something to remember him by <3

This is overall a good, inexpensive project to commemorate your fur baby. The tools are basic and items that you could scrape together out of your own household but this is all packaged into a convenient box ready for use. The instructions are simple yet in a dozen languages - don’t let the extra text throw you off! It helps to go over the instructions first to get a big picture of what activity you’ll embark. There are a few things to know: 1) work quickly with the impression material. If you have experience using play-doh or clay, that is a bonus. The impression material is sealed in a foil pouch and when you open it, you’ll find the mound semi-wrapped in a sheet of plastic. It’s a malleable material and has a pleasant (coconut oil?) scent. It sticks a little but you can take the impression material and roll it into a ball and use the actual material itself to lift off any remnants on the plastic sheet. 2) work on a clean workspace & make sure your fur baby is close by ready to make a print with a clean paw. My imprints showed bits of dust which is not as clean looking as the image on the box. 3) you have to provide your own sheet of aluminum foil to line your work surface & allow your ornament to dry. Instead of making one large ornament I ended up quickly divvying the impression material into four (two circular ornaments, one organic and one heart shaped paper weight). This worked in my favor because my dog is small and I was able to make multiple prints with his small paw. You might not be able to do this with a larger dog, say a St. Bernard (or any other large paw). If you have old cookie cutters with your desired shape that would be an additional helpful tool to dig out as I had to shape my heart ornament by hand. Overall I enjoyed using this material and recommend buying it, especially to those that have a knack for crafting keepsakes. The material is relatively easy to use and not as messy as clay. Since you don’t have to bake the ornament it’s low impact with less required maintenance but it does take a couple of days to fully dry. This may be something to consider if you are working on a tighter time crunch.

I needed something fast, because we had to take our dog into the ER vet the next morning and I had a deep disgusting feeling that we wouldn't be seeing her again due to her injuries and sickness. It came so fast, was so so sooo easy to use and there was enough clay to make two for hers and two more for my other two dogs. This is beautiful... Absolutely stunning. I am so so beyond happy with my purchase... Thank you.

Worked perfectly! I got it for my elderly cat, but had enough left over to form a circle and take my others cats print as well!

Would not recommend at all. Poor quality molding material and did not get to make the product as advertised because the modeling material did not at all capture the print as recommended nor with additional pressure on the material. This product was not at all moldable as it had mentioned in the instructions, even after working with it for a few minutes. Also, the rolling pin provided, even with decent force, did not make the material smooth. Further, I wet my dog's paw per the instructions and pressed it into the material by letting him stand in it. No impression was made after having him stay there for a little while. Tried as well pressing his paw into the material and pressing with a flat harder surface on the other side so there may be more force behind it (because my dog is 13 lbs), but nothing left a lingering impression. The material used to make the impression should recommend a dog size or just improve in general. The whole purpose in buying this product was unable to be accomplished because the material to make it was poor.

We really love these little kits, but I can say that I understand why some people did not love them. There is a learning curve. Here is what we learned from watching a lot of YouTube: 1. Make the paw imprint a lot deeper than you think you need to because as it dries the clay puffs up a little. ** Follow the directions and use a book covered in foil as a sturdy surface. It really does work and is the most efficient way (we tried multiple ways). 2. When making the imprint push down on the pad of foot first and then each of the toes individually. Push firmly, but gently. It helps to have two people - one to do the impression and one to distract with treats. 3. These prints take a LONG time to dry. The instructions say 24-48 hours, but without help it might take upwards of 7 days. 4. To speed up the drying time you can put the print in a food dehydrator at 165 degrees for about an hour facing up and then an hour facing down. You can also use the oven - turn your oven on to 200 degrees and then turn it off and wait for about 15 minutes. Put the paw prints in for about twenty minutes. 5. After the print is dry we sprayed it with a clear acrylic spray both to protect it from dust sticking and make it more durable. This clay is not hard like most other clays. It does dry solid, but if you drop it, it will not shatter. We used a toothpick to write the names of our dogs above the paw prints.

Awful! It doesn’t dry fully so is quite soft and also the paw prind doesn’t come nice! Very dissatisfied!

Have ordered this product multiple times to create a lifetime imprint of my fur babies. It is easy to make and a simple process to follow. Since I had to import it from US via Amazon, the delivery time is 1-3 weeks.
