My cage is 30x18 so its about 96 around and 18 in height. The description reads 118 and 16 in height. So I knew it would be a little big. Preferred it a little big than too tight. I have 2 budgies and mainly the mess comes from the flapping of wings when they are acting silly and comes from the bottom, I usually change their crate twice daily and line the bottom above the crate and change that about twice daily. I have them up on a chest and clean behind it weekly. I dont have the liner all the way up in the front because I have my budgies door open mid morning till bedtime. Large door has a smaller door, but mesh fits better this way. So for me the fit is fine. I have it pulled nice and tight around the bottom. Does it keep every single seed, poop, and feather inside, idk yet. But I'm thinking it will help quite a bit. Unfortunately my budgies came with clipped wings, and while the first one has his wings now and can fly, the second I got two months later is not quite there yet, so he climbs the cage getting back in. I will have to watch that toes don't get caught in the mesh. I'm retired and hang out with them quite a bit, so I'll be watching to see if they mess with the mesh.

Bought this more my daughter. She said it catches most seeds not all.

This item is a great buy. It's very elegant and affordable.

I bought this mesh cover for my bird cage, and it really surprised me. It’s super practical, easy to install, and does exactly what it’s supposed to — keeps the seeds and mess inside the cage, so the area stays much cleaner.The material is lightweight but strong, allows good airflow, and doesn’t bother the birds at all. It also fits nicely thanks to the elastic band, so it stays in place perfectly.

This meet doesn't start where it's supposed to stay on the cage. It would have been great if it had an elasticated edge to it to get a better grip on the cage to stay put.

The net was super useful in terms of keeping the area/cage clean! It captured all the feathers and any seed shells that would typically blow around the cage when they'd flap their wings. HOWEVER, upon putting the net around the cage, one of my birds got caught in it from the inside trying to climb on the side of the cage. I loosened the net so it wouldn't happen again (it was a lot safer on the inside) however a few weeks later after using the product more, one of the other birds got stuck in it on the outside flying around it. Now that bird is currently in the hopsital trying to remove the thread as it is wrapped tight and deeply around one of its little toe and there is a high chance that toe may be amputated. BECAREFUL when using this product, its helpful but poses as a hazard to the birds inside and outside the cage!!!!
