Easy to use, looks fantastic!
Love this glaze!! Looks amazing over speckled clay. Enhances the speckle while still making the clay appear mostly white. Also lets colored slip / englob show its color, but very muted through the white. It’s a perfect blend of solid white and clear shiny glaze. … Also, shakes up well and brushes on nicely.

Nice opaque glaze. 2 coats.
I reordered this glaze. It works great fired to Cone 5 or Cone 6. I've had stable results with but the lilac glaze and the carnation. Thank you for the reliable glaze. I've been making and selling mugs for yrs. This product was a great fit for me and what I think I'm doing 😁

I recommend!
This glaze is nice i used it on speckles clay and the color wasn’t as vibrant as it looked on the packaging but i got lots of compliments on this glaze.

Apply multiple coats!
Interesting texture that can be trickier to apply because it’s so thick but came out beautifully on my white clay. I used 4 coats!

This purple is spectacular!
I’m taking a ceramics/pottery class at my local community college and when it came time to start glazing my pieces I realized we didn’t have any purple hues at all - purple was really important to me in my work. I found this glaze and it was the purple of my dreams. It came out exactly how I wanted it! Some of my pieces were fired in the electric kiln and some of my pieces were fired in reduction and all of my pieces came out absolutely stunning. Don’t hesitate to order this glaze for your art!

Too thick and causes crawling.
Very thick. Do not apply smoothly. Horrible crawling no matter what I do and have ruined multiple pieces. Would not recommend. I ordered both carnation and endive green and they both are practically un-usable.

Penguin rocks!!
Applied smoothly for me and fired beautifully. Really love Penguin underglazes. I have candy apple red and orange as well. Beautiful!

Not as advertised, it is NOT glossy. I just fired a whole classrooms worth load with this glaze and it was the biggest mistake of my teaching career (tip: test stuff because the kiln is unpredictable)

Beautiful glaze but not as deep a “lilac” colour as illustrated on the jar
