My 5 year old absolutely loved this toy. It seems to be of quality and was a good value for the price paid (bought on a deal). It's making for hours of fun and sparks his imagination.

We all belong to some kind of fandom - a sports team, Star Trek, Star Wars, Doctor Who, the Marvel Universe, the DC Universe - the list never ends. And we all know that it’s never too early to start someone into our favorite characters. For the little Batman fan in your life, Fisher-Price, DC Comics and Imaginext have teamed up to create the Batman Battling Robot! Listed for ages 3 and up, the packaging has Batman already sitting in his robot, with a grappler on the side and two bright red buttons. Upon opening the package, please make sure to remove the instruction manual from the bottom, as that will be needed when it comes time to replace the batteries. There are batteries included, but the manual will describe the type needed and how to install them. Before you cut Batman out of the robot, be sure to push the button on top. Batman lights up as bright as the Bat-Signal in the Gotham sky! He is removable though, and remember to remove the plastic behind him as well. The grappler can be put in the right hand slot and shoots out when you push the red button on that arm. The left arm moves up and down as a type of punch. These is no movement at the elbow joint on either side. I assume this is for age-appropriate reasons, but I personally feel it’s a drawback. The material is durable, also for age-appropriate reasons. This can be dropped, stained, stepped on, and will still keep on fighting. Nobody makes children’s toys like Fisher-Price! The price point is reasonable and I can see children being drawn to the light and the grappler. It would make a good gift for the growing Batfan in your life. 4 out of 5!
