Started to heal a spot that I picked at.
I am trying to only use twice a week like the directions say, so I will see tonight if it heals!

At Home Peel Properties That Didn't Irritate My Somewhat Sensitive Skin
PSA, which stands for Purposeful Skincare by Allies, is Allies of Skin's new, lower-cost skincare line, with each product designed to tackle a specific skin issue, and be used in combination with the rest of the line as needed. Like the main Allies line, PSA products are free of silicones, sulfates, denatured alcohol, essential oils and synthetic dyes and added fragrance. It is also cruelty-free. This "Goals" gel night serum is one of PSA's bestselling treatments, according to their website, and works well in conjunction as a night treatment alongside the day use "The Most" hydrator. The main ingredient in this brightening treatment is a 12% AHA + BHA acid blend that includes Glycolic Acid, Lactic Acid, Pyruvic Acid, Salicylic Acid and Polyhydroxy Acid. It's similar to the chemical exfoliating properties of something like the Dr. Gross Alpha-Beta peel pads, which I'm a big fan of. Goals also contains Probiotics to help build up a healthy skin biome, Niacinamide for skin smoothing, hydrating Hyaluronic Acid, soy lecithin to help strengthen the skin and Tamanu Oil, which is both an antioxidant and antibacterial agent. Peels can instantly smooth and brighten skin, while also helping to boost collagen and elastin production via expedited regeneration, and the at-home formulas have come a long way in recent years. They're easily one of the most "bang for your buck" beauty treatments that can have both instant and long term results. As someone with sensitive skin, I always do a patch test on any product with chemical exfoliant acids, and use it sparingly, two or three times per week, instead of nightly. This is designed to be applied to bare skin, and once absorbed, topped with night cream or facial oil to wake up with smooth and glowing skin. Also, while you should never, ever skip sunscreen, it's especially important to use daily SPF, no matter what the weather, after using any AHA product, as it can make you much more susceptible to UV damage. Really liked this one, as it's well made and priced right and had an immediate effect on my skin without prompting irritation or breaking the bank.

Sticky
I like this product, I just don't like that it stays so sticky on my face.

Still evaluating
So far I’ve used this at the slower suggested rate of once a week and I’m not seeing any difference. Going to increase to twice a week and see how that goes. My skin is on the dry and sensitive side so taking it slow is usually the best approach. On that note, I haven’t had any irritation with once weekly use. Goes on smooth and soaks in quickly. Will have to update on any progress.

Wow
The first thing I do when shopping for skin care is look at the ingredients. I'm really glad they're listed on the product page so I don't have to go hunting for them elsewhere. I didn't see any of the ingredients that are problematic for me, so I plugged them into an online ingredient decoder. Then I went WOW! Seriously. The ingredients in this twice a week night time serum from PSA (a more affordable line of products from Allies of Skin) blew me away. First of all, every single ingredient in it is non-irritating and non-comedogenic. The INCI decoder most folks use rates ingredients that are great as a goodie or a superstar. Usually there are only one or two superstars in any formula, but this one has an amazing 7 superstar ingredients (Glycerin, Glycolic Acid, Gluconolactone, Lactic Acid, Salicylic Acid, Niacinamide, and Glycyrrhiza Glabra Root Extract). In addition to that, it has 14 more "goodie" ingredients. That was what made me go Wow. I have mature skin, and this stuff has been fantastic. I've also been using their once a week peel and their daily toner, and the combo has visibly improved my skin texture and brightness in 3 weeks. Gone are the ashy, dull looking tones. I look healthier and "more awake" according to my partner. I'm guessing that "more awake" look is the improvement in brightness. Run the ingredients through a decoder and read up on some of what these ingredients do yourself. Some of the highlight ingredients by function include: ➮Anti-acne: Salicylic Acid, Niacinamide ➮Antioxidant: Calophyllum Inophyllum Seed Oil, Tocopheryl Acetate, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Centella Asiatica Leaf Extract, Tetrahydrodiferuloylmethane, Tetrahydrodemethoxydiferuloylmethane, Tetrahydrobisdemethoxydiferuloylmethane ➮Cell-communicating ingredient: Niacinamide ➮Exfoliant: Glycolic Acid, Gluconolactone, Lactic Acid, Salicylic Acid ➮Skin brightening: Niacinamide, Glycyrrhiza Glabra Root Extract, Tetrahydrodiferuloylmethane, Tetrahydrodemethoxydiferuloylmethane, Tetrahydrobisdemethoxydiferuloylmethane ➮Skin-identical ingredient: Glycerin, Sodium PCA, Hyaluronic Acid ➮Soothing: Lactobacillus Ferment, Bisabolol, Salicylic Acid, Glycyrrhiza Glabra Root Extract, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Centella Asiatica Leaf Extract, Tetrahydrodiferuloylmethane, Tetrahydrodemethoxydiferuloylmethane, Tetrahydrobisdemethoxydiferuloylmethane ➮Antimicrobial/antibacterial: Calophyllum Inophyllum Seed Oil, Leuconostoc/Radish Root Ferment Filtrate ➮Moisturizer/humectant: Glycerin, Propanediol, Lactic Acid, Niacinamide, Sodium PCA, Centella Asiatica Leaf Extract, Hyaluronic Acid, Sodium Hyaluronate Crosspolymer-3, Sodium Gluconate

I expected a better product for that price. The ingredients feel diluted. I’m disappointed.

Not a fan
My teenage daughter tried this and is not a fan. She has sensitive skin, so she has to be careful what she uses. She said that is burned when she put it on, and it was difficult to take off. She claimed that it made her face sore and red. She will not be using this again.

Excellent night serum!
I have been looking for a quality night serum to add to my nighttime skin treatments. This has a lot of quality ingredients glycolic acid and salicylic acid among others with Niacinamide, Tamanu Oil, White & Green Tea Complex, and Probiotics. It claims to help with exfoliating, promote radiance and collagen production and help with fine lines, wrinkles and spots. I have some random sun spots that have appeared and I have to say this has helped them fade if not disappear in some areas. It is gently enough to use on my sensitive skin but strong enough to product results. Skin appears brighter and I do see a "glow" improvement. I plan to continue using and see what long term results might be as I am please with results from a month of use.
