Love it.
This is a great dummy load. Works as expected which allows me to test the radio without concern.

Nice entry level load for ham radio operators
This was an invaluable device to have on hand as a reference point when I worked on kinks in a new ham radio antenna system. It's surprisingly small but presents exactly the load advertised. It's air-cooled metal and be warned it does get HOT with a 100 watt transceiver during a normal tuning duration. In addition to obviously wearing gloves (or oven mitts!) if you're going to pick it up during portable use, consider the surface upon which it will sit if used in the shack. I don't think it'd actually get hot enough to burn carpet, but definitely enough heat there to disfigure anything not meant to stand up to heat. You probably already knew that, just being a ham, but it bears repeating.

Tests indicate it is Great!
I had ordered a big name Dummy Load from a quality dealer but it was on back-order. I found this one on Amazon and the reviews seemed rather positive. It came in today, so let the testing start. First, its resistance should measure 50,0 ohms and it measured by my Fluke meter to be 50.2 ohm. That is more that good enough for my ham work. Secondly, its SWR should be, if perfect, 1.0000 My Rig-Expert measure it to be 1.01 More that good enough for me. Looks like a great Dummy Load and good price. Only time will tell how it holds up to use. Dan K4CFZ

Decent load for the money
Works well. Using for my bench to calibrate my ham radio and tuning. very close to 50ohm over my VNA. It does get warm if you are near the max wattage. I wouldn't key up for minutes at a time, but when tuning you do not need extended long times.

Don't Be A Dummy. Buy A Dummy Load.
Other operators "tuning up" while you're trying to make contacts is really annoying. Those bad boys should be using a dummy load. But, either they don't have one or they're too lazy to put it on. I got this one and now I can do my testing with peace of mind knowing I'm not going to step on anyone else's signal. No more hunting for a clear frequency. I've used it twice and it has worked just as it should.

Works fine
Measures 51.2 ohms, but within spec for a dummy load. Used to set up DPD on the Icom transmitter.

The item is good. I used it on a Kenwood TS450SAT, the SWR reading is 1:1 100 watts output on all bands.
