Hard to find black light bulbd

I have an old bug lamp and I needed bulbs for replacement. These got decent reviews and fit all the physical requirements. TWO were flickering right out of the box and useless. ONE had the end contactor loose and falling off. ONE seems to be possibly working. The OLD bulbs that I was replacing actually felt like fluorescent bulbs..the end contractors were sealed and tight. THESE have the equivalent of aluminum foil that almost falls off when you try to plug them in. The quality is as bad as humanly possible. There is ZERO reason to manufacture and sell junk like this...if you can't make an intact, usable and able to be installed bulb....dont make them. You can buy 8 foot fluorescent bulbs that are of good quality for the same price. There is no reason to stick customers with junk hoping that they don't return them when they arrive unusable. They couldn't be worse. DONT BUY THESE

I wanted to set up a glow fish tank but didn't want to pay the high price and have a bunch of different light running threw my tank so i took a chance on these the work fantastic i just replaced my hood light with this and bam it worked so well everything glows great especially orange, blue and pink its amazing. if you're thinking about building a glo fish tank these bulbs work.

They are bright and work. They just don’t last long.

These tubes work well as blue light. I bought them thinking that they would make white objects glow. They do not do that at all. They are just emit blue light.
