Received a previously used & broken item.
The keyboard package was fixed with an adhesive tape, the keyboard itself was dirty and had numerous fingerprints on it, and it didn't even connect due to its USB-C port being broken. An utter disappointment.

Best keyboard I have ever used. As one who touch-types, I am fussy about my keyboard, and many that I have bought I have tossed away, having keys that are too 'spongy'. This keyboard is very solid with a positive click and no sponginess. Attractive appearance, as a bonus. Only possible drawback is the rather loud clacking noise when keys are pecked, which may bother some people (this is a result of the solidness of the keyboard), especially in an office environment. For me, however, it is a non-issue.

I bought this C2 Keychron-Red-Switch non-hot-swappable non-backlight (i.e. the most basic version) keyboard as a first time mechanical keyboard user and after months of searching YouTube and web over switches, mechanical keyboard types and reviews and etc. I always wanted to use it in office while working around others, so from the outset noise was a consideration. I am a researcher in engineering so I do a lot of coding and writing for extended amounts of time. I am also a milenial so the retro look was also a factor for me. For the price, this in my opinion is the best thing you can possibly buy, bar none! It is such a pleasure to type on this, I hate typing on my laptop and other membrane keyboards now. The build quality and thoughtfullness that went into the design is truely amazing, the keys after all this typing have remained reliable, it is easy to clean the if debrees go under keys and the typing accuracy is excellent. The red-switch despite being linear feels very different than membrane switches and in a good way. It is not as silent as your typical membrane switch keyboard however the sound level is very acceptable, no one has yet objected to me after 4 months of typing everyday. I have recieved praises from everyone for the looks of the keyboard. If you are looking for an affoardable high quality mechanical keyboard, this is it. I hope Keychron never stops producing these.

+ Nice sound and feels quite nice. + I love how it looks. - I find it will occasionally input the letter when the key is slightly depressed but not yet past the break point. It's very minor and also rather rare though so I don't mind it much. I also wish that there was more noticeable click feel however that's probably a theme with brown switches, given I previously used blues.

Before anything, this keyboard is a great keyboard which will probably work for most people. It's nice to type on, and the sound it makes is fantastic. Unfortunately, it doesn't work for the purpose I bought it for, because I am using it in the office and I need to use it with a KVM, because there's more than one computer I need to access. My KVM needs a "Scroll Lock" to switch, and there is no way to press this key on the keyboard! I cannot easily swap between computers! Instead of this, I get a useless "Lock" key and a "Siri" key. I can do a lock with a keyboard shortcut, and I never used that key. It's a useless key for me. So sadly, I can't use this for the purpose I bought it for. I'm using it at home, and it's good, but it's not what I got it for.
