Pen Review
Pen arrived too late for Christmas even though I ordered it the first of Dec. Overall the pen is exactly as pictured. It writes great and can write on a variety of surfaces. The quality is great- it’s heavier than I thought it would be. The size is a like a regular pen and fits nicely in my pocketbook.

Great pen
I love this pen, looks good, feels good and writes good. Space pen has always been a reputable company. i keep this pen in my glove box as it fits perfectly in the pen holder clips.

Not as good as I was hoping
Overall: 3.5 /5 stars Pros: -Smooth ink flow -Dark black color with a medium weight -Raw Brass is developing a unique patina quickly Cons: -Quality of pen is not worth of price point -Click mechanism is mushy, not a satisfying or solid feeling click -Threaded plastic internals that will fail before rest of pen Thoughts: I have been using a Zebra F-701 as my daily driver for the past five years. I have been through numerous refills in my Zebra, and while it's still in great shape, I wanted another desktop pen to swap in and out of rotation. As others have alluded to, the best feature of this pen is the Fisher Refill. Otherwise, I don't believe that this pen is worth anywhere near the price point ($27.00 at time of order). I had (and lost) Fisher Bullet pens in the past, and the writing experience is just as good as it was years ago. Unfortunately, the fit, feel, and weight of the pen leaves a lot to be desired. The click isn't satisfying, the overall weight feels cheapish, and the edge of the top barrel (clicker) is sharp. If I had to do it over again, I would find a different option in the Fisher lineup. The classic bullet pen is great with the exception of not having a built-in pocket clip. I know that I can buy them separately, but it just turns into something else to lose over time. Without a clip, they roll off my desk and out of sight too easily. Unfortunately, the number of options for a raw brass pen are limited in the Fisher catalog.

BEAUTIFUL RAW BRASS PEN
Just got this in the mail today! I can’t speak of longevity of it . However I can give you my initial thoughts.. great presentation packaging! Upon opening the RAW BRASS pops , absolutely beautiful pen! I have it here in the video next to my solid brass zippo for “somewhat of a comparison” The construction of pen seems to be of great quality! Although it is a little lighter than I thought it would be .. not necessarily a bad thing . I would say weight is good! It screws on and off to get to the refill with no hesitation. Clicking the top part of pen does not feel mushy as some others have said .. I clicked it in my video and you can see and hear the responsiveness of it . Writes very nicely! No complaints here! I would buy again and recommend to a friend! I will update as I use it more! Please note I’m a truck driver / laborer and very very hard on my pens.. I will update!

Shiny. Tarnish. Handle. Shiny. Repeat!!
Absolutely wonderful pen. The raw brass has a smooth feel but doesn’t slip around in your hand. It is shiny right out of the package. After a bit of time exposed to air it begins to tarnish. The more you handle the pen the more its natural shininess comes out again. The cycle continues! Parker pens are great. Fine size for my small but fairly thick hands (size 12 ring). Ink is fine. Smooth enough writing experience. Clicker pen.

awsome. lasts long. no leaking
Bought three brass space pens, one for home, one for travel and one for at work. Selected brass because of articles about the bacteriostatic properties of copper surfaces, (brass is part copper), and working in healthcare it just seemed a good choice. The pens at home and work have been in use since purchase, (about a month), and are holding up fine. the action to extrude the tip is a bit different from conventional pens, using the barrel instead of a knob at the top. The action is super-easy --- a little too easy at first and always defies first time users who have been introduced to the pen. In an era where iPhones sell for +$1000 it is hilarious to see the reaction most people have to a $16.00 pen! The next reaction is to ask the price of the refills! This makes no sense to me when the price is negligible, especially compared to the utility and the quality. The only drawback so far is to find that the ink does smudge until dry. Lets see how long it takes to dry. Will report back after a few experiments. The only other drawback is that, at $16.00 the pen does hold a bit of aniety for possible loss at work, as we move around, respond to emergencies, are constantly being distracted by outside events like transports, putting out fires, doing spur-of-the-moment education, all in the middle of entering data. Had a few hear-losses already! But even so, the pen is so good it is worth it so far. At home, it is a real pleasure and in transit, it is also very handy in my backpack. Highly recommended.
