Great case
I had purchased a case for my husband's Fuze several months ago and bought the 3 in 1 travel case set. I definitely didn't like it's ill fitting design and so when I purchased a Fuze for myself decided to try out this snap on case. His leather case is not only ill fitting and doesn't protect the screen very well but it completely hides the Fuze's good looks. I enjoy the fact that this case doesn't seem easily scratched and shows off the Fuze while protecting it at the same time. It fits perfectly. All of the ports are easily accessible. I had no trouble turning it on and off. I was able to remove the case twice within 10 minutes although it was not easy and took some care which honestly, is what you would expect in a good quality case. My niece has an I-pod and I watched her step-father struggle with removing the snap on case. It took him much longer just to get that thing apart than what it took me to get this one apart, back together, and then apart again. I used an old fashioned staple remover (the one with the bent top not the kind with the "teeth" so to speak) to act as a lever and pry it apart from the bottom where the opening for the port is. Also, I noticed my niece's case didn't have an opening at all to charge her Ipod. This case has ALL of the openings in exactly the correct places so you shouldn't have to take it on and off a lot. The clip wasn't as bad as what some of the reviews lead me to believe it would have been. However the clip is definitely cheap looking and seems as if it could be easily broken. I do like the fact that you can leave the back part of the clip inside the case with the Fuze in it and then unscrew the actual clip on part from the outside of the case and detach it completely if you don't want to use it. This is a nice feature since I'll probably only use the clip when I'm jogging. Overall, a very well designed case. Again, I had no problem taking mine off contrary to the one review where the person said it could not be removed at all. I would be interested in reading some reviews from others who have maybe had their cases a while as I hope that the case wouldn't over time maybe become impossible to remove? I hope not anyway. Just wanted to give an update, it's Nov., 2010, case is still holding up great(even though it does now look the worse for wear seeing as how I've dropped it about 100 times and thrown it in my purse and basically just scratched the heck out of it). It's still easy to remove the case and still protecting my Fuze just fine. I think I might buy another case after Christmas though because I have scratched mine up pretty badly. It's February, 2012 and I'm still using this same case although it's about time to update with a new MP3 player. I'm a bit of a klutz so I can honestly say this thing has been dropped numerous times. It's been thrown in my purse, tote bags, suitcases, etc.. and has protected my Fuze perfectly. It has some fine scratches in it but doesn't look horrible. I can still remove the case and replace it with no problem.

Great Case!!
I bought this and the silicone sleeve with armband and belt clip for my Fuze and it's better than I expected considering some other reviews. Clear Case: It's great. I can access everything except that the power button is hard to slide sometimes and I did have to modify the bottom so the data cable would seat properly. Before you buy this or before it gets to you WATCH THE VIDEO. It made modifying and test fitting so much easier. Silicone Skin Case: Fits snugly and fits over the clear snap-on case. The power button is hard to get to with both products in place but I only do this when I need the armband. Armband: I can see how it might be small for some people but I have seen some wear their MP3 players on their forearm just below the elbow. It's stretchy and works for me just fine on my upper arm. Belt-Clip: Those who have broken theirs just didn't look hard enough. The two disks that sandwich the silicone actually have a screw post that holds them together. Just unscrew the halves, put the correct one inside the sleeve, screw back together, and put your player in the sleeve. You do not have to separate the buttons from the clip to do this. Very simple. If I were a jogger or runner I would stick with the armband, the clip seems a little flimsy. Fast walkers or walking with a stroller or on your way to work its probably just fine. If you buy this case, you can also use the belt clip. It has the properly drilled hole and indent specifically for the clip, and you can unscrew the outer half and slip over the silicone sleeve when you need the armband. I didn't know which one would work for me but I'm glad I bought both because I now have a lot more options to enjoy my Fuze.

Almost Perfect
The main reason I didn't give this 4 or 5 stars is because it came with an imperfection in the plastic. Not a scratch, not a smudge, but a kind of stain. I didn't notice the stain until the player was turned on. It's clear as day whenever I use it and I may be forced to replace the case much sooner than expected. I'm also displeased to learn that the case is almost as scratch prone as the player itself. I wiped off the case with a soft, yet non-microfiber cloth, and there are noticeable scratches on it. They don't distort the screen thank goodness, but eventually I'm sure I'll get a scratch that will be impossible to ignore. A smaller gripe is that the bottom opening for the data port could due to be a millimeter wider. The cable fits in just fine, but without a little extra force it's somewhat lopsided. As for other people's complaints the case is hard to get off I'll somewhat agree, but if it's going to protect the player it can't just come off at the snap of your fingers. If you have long enough fingernails just run one along the edge until you can get between the two pieces of plastic. Once you get to a notch it should come apart pretty easily. Don't force it if you pop one notch. Keep running your nail around until you get two or three popped off. I can't say how this case stands up to other protective products (e.g. screen protectors) but you may want to try one of those first if they are cheaper or you can buy it from a local store.
