Frozen Beverage Station - Retro Red

So far so good!! We've used the machine twice and it worked as described (maybe better). Enjoyed the margaritas. When we removed from the box we thought the stir paddle was missing. However, upon looking further at the styrofoam packing, the paddle was in a slot on the back of the styrofoam. This weekend plan to try it for making milkshakes. Purchased the green option....looks very nostalgic. Also, easy to clean. Overall happy with purchase and would recommend.

You will have to return! This does not work at all. You get chunks of ice not shaved. Ended up simply using a blender and the drinks came out better than this. Honestly not even sure how it can be sold when completely incapable of doing the job it’s made to perform. Waste of time. 100% pass. Do not buy!

Reading the negative reviews made me somehow hesitant to purchase this item. Decided to give it a try anyhow, and so glad I did. This is not a professional slush maker, so if one expects the quality of a machine priced at well above 1K, then one must have his or her head examined. This is an inexpensive ... but very good looking home version, that need a little imagination to bring a satisfying end result. Combined with an inexpensive (in the same price range) food blender it is a real winner. To give an example: my first Pina Colada, did not come exactly as expected ... but after mixing the entire drink in a blender for 3 seconds ... voila ... the drink was perfect! The blender by itself won't do the trick, as it always leave the alcohol on the bottom of the glass in a matter of minutes.

Very nice device.easy to use. Does what it says it will do. I deducted a star for a few but minor reasons which are loudness, speed and need to use unfused ice. For the price it is an excellent machine. it is a bit loud compared to other brands, but it is a lot more user friendly. The only big issue is that you have to make sure the ice you put in has not fused. Say for example you got some ice from you local hardware shop and put it back in the fridge, sometimes ice cubes will fuse and if you dont notice it and put it in the ice machine it jam. also the amount of ice you can put in at a given time is very limited. Which means you have to stay by the machine to add more ice for a single serving. Again there are a few things this machine lacks compared to other brands but for the occasional user and price this is an excellent device. If you are looking to use it at a bar, it is not good. For the occasional drink it is excellent. Do i recommend this yes for the price it is excellent.

I bought the nostalgia retro 40 ounce beverage station to satisfy our household insatiable demand for frozen drinks. Although I love the looks of the machine and the big picture of ice you can produce, I am a little disappointed. First, when you put ice in the machine, you have to hold it quite firmly in order to make the machine work. Second, when you have to open the machine to put in more ice to fill up the picture, the ice slides down between the ice chamber and the machine come requiring you to put it back in the chamber. This is tricky as the ice keeps falling through the slots. After I got the machine, I decided to try making drinks in my Ninja system blender and found that it does a satisfactory job with a lot less effort and a whole lot less noise.. Had I tried that I ordered this machine or before the return period was up, I would not have another appliance sitting around.

Final Update: Mixing paddle arrived today. Product works great with the mixing paddle! 5 stars. :) Update: I called their support line and they are shipping a new paddle for the device. Once that arrives I'll update again, but their support was very prompt and concerned about the issue. If you don't get your mixing paddle in the box, call their support line and they will send one to you at no cost. Excellent customer service with no hassles. Will update again in a few days once I receive it and can use the product. Keeping the product instead of returning it. :) Original: I opened the box expecting to be able to use the product. Without the stirring module inside the bowl, the device won't mix and that's it's only purpose other than shaving ice. They're sold out of the stirring modules on their website so I can't even buy a replacement. Extremely disappointed and sending it back to Amazon.

First I ordered this in a cream color, and it never came. It still hasn’t come. I received an update that more then likely this had been lost in the mail. It’s been over three weeks. So I ordered another one but in black. I was so wanting this to be what I imagined and what it showed in the pictures but it’s not. At best it’s CRUSHED ice, and there is not real different between the two settings. (Shaved and slushy) and no way can you use a straw, which is what I wanted for my kiddos and their friends (8-12yrs) I’ve decided to keep it, as it’s good for crushed ice and, as I’m also getting charged for the one I never even saw, it’s better then non stop all. . I tried contacting Amazon and the company but nothing back except that I’m responsible for the one that was “lost in the mail” I heard good things about this company so I’m sorry I got the crap end here and I’m sure this doesn’t happen all the time- but I’m totally annoyed and disappointed I have ti pay for two, only get one, and I don’t even like it. I wanted it for the “slushy” part and it is definitely NOT a slushy consistency! I hope others have better luck and don’t get over charged for something they never even saw!

Fun for kids

With how hot this summer has been I was excited to try this out to help cool down. I pretty much make a slushy every day now. Does everything it's supposed to do and quickly. High expectations and wasn't disappointed.

Para lo bien que lo ponían algunas reseñas online, esta maquina de granizados (si es que se puede llamar así) me ha dejado de lo mas decepcionada. El embalaje muy difícil de quitar y después tenias que estar un buen rato sacando y metiendo cables. Empezó a funcionar como esperado, pero una vez que lo apagamos después de su primer uso (que realmente no hizo mucho) no volvió a encenderse. No hemos puesto en contacto con Amazon y ya lo hemos devuelto pero por alguna razón la devolución no parece confirmarse. Hemos intentado contactar con el vendedor y con Amazon varias veces ya pero para ningún remedio. Ya han pasado mas de 5 meses desde que lo devolvimos y todavía no hemos recibido ni un centimo. Si alguien llega a ver este mensaje, no recomiendo que se lo compre.

Direkt beim ersten Gebrauch offenbart das Produkt seine Herkunft: Made in China. Ich habe die Eiswürfel antauen lassen, wie in der Anleitung empfohlen. Der Motor ist alle paar Sekunden stecken geblieben, weil er trotzdem zu schwach war. Nachdem ich gefühlt zehn mal den Deckel, den Aufsatz und die Eiswürfel entnommen und neu befüllt habe, damit die Machine entblockt wird, sprang der Motor nicht einmal mehr richtig an. Zehn Minuten Frust und dann Ernüchterung... Ich hatte wenig erwartetund wurde dennoch enttäuscht.
