There are two supplied braided hoses that connect the hot and cold valves to the central faucet outlet. The supplied hoses must be screwed into the central faucet outlet after installation and hand tightened per the instructions. Using a wrench can damage these connections and cause a leak. There are O rings that ensure these connections don't leak even when hand tightened. The other ends connect to the hot and cold values using standard 3/8 inch compression nuts that must be tightened with a wrench to ensure a good seal. If the installer is not careful, installing and tightening these 3/8 inch compression nuts can inadvertently loosen the connections to the central faucet outlet causing a leak. To avoid a leak the installer must ensure that the connections to the central faucet outlet do not come loose when tightening the 3/8 inch compression nuts that connect to the valves. The solution is to slightly twist the hoses to maintain a tight connection to the central faucet while tightening the compression nuts. That way, there's constant torque applied to the connections to the central faucet outlet keeping the O rings compressed and preventing a future leak.

I have not received the correct drain assembly - 88509000. It was supposed to be brass but i have received plastic drain assembly. Would be returning it.

The faucet is nice quality but the installation is a little confusing at some points. We like this faucet so far.

Just installed so I have yet to give a long term assessment. We’ve had great success with past Grohe products.
