Worked on Ghost gates.
We have been using the antenna on our automatic gates at our drive entrance. We have been able to be a few hundred feet now to open our gates.

Works well with rtl_sdr
I have this on a rtl_sdr stick hooked up to a RPi and it works well. Picked up all the 433Mhz sensors in my house.

Does what it should, gets signal to my outdoor camera!
I have a wireless camera pointed at the temp gauge on my wood boiler. The antenna that came with that camera was junk and I could never get it to connect to my wifi. Bough this, screwed on no problems, and stuck it (with it's magnetic base) to my boiler and boom - connected to wifi and works great!

It was an OK antenna
The antenna did not really help me with any range however, I did get a stronger signal.

Not much improvement
I wanted to use these to get a better signal with my Suncomm SE06 Pro router on the 2.4Ghz WiFi band. They attach directly to the antenna ports and have a 1M cable. The magnets on these are pretty weak and small, so they wont stay on in any kind of mobile application, but will work indoors as long as the cable isn’t pulling on the antenna base. Once installed, I tried several different positions to increase the signal beyond what I was receiving with the stock paddle antennas and they didn’t seem to do any better. In some cases, they actually made it worse. I decided to keep them since these allow me to mount the antennas remotely, but in my use case they really dont improve the signal much above the stock antennas.

Huge signal loss in cable and base
Hopefully I am just a one off case. I went to measure the antenna, and found that it shows swr of 1.5 or less from about 200MHz to 600MHz. So a totally miracle antenna here </sarcasm>. To further check, I unscrewed the antenna, which you would expect to cause a perfect reflection at the antenna base, and allow you to just measure how much signal is being lost in the cable. Over the same range, just the cable and base showed of return loss of 13dB or higher, full range. A "decent" cable would measure maybe 6dB round trip loss, or 3dB one way, which indicates that half of the signal accepted by the antenna would be lost in the base and cable. So at half of 13dB, maybe 20% of the signal picked up from this antenna will make it to your receiver.
