Works Great!
This works great! If you never put anything like this together, you may have a little trouble. There wasn't any directions in the box. There is a few pictures on the box, but it doesn't really help that much. After a while though, I figured out. It works great for what I needed it for. Save writing it hundreds of times. :)

The "4" looks like a "1"
The "4" looks like a "1", not like a normal "4". This is a problem. Otherwise, it's a fine stamp.

It was not what I thought I ordered.
I thought the product was an automatic stamp. It will work fine for stamping single dates.

Not what was advertised
The advertised specs on this stamp fell well within the size of the labels we use but as you can see from the photo the numbers are way wider than our labels making this thing useless. And, this is only 5 of the 6 digits. Spec says .6875" for all 6 digits but the stamp is well over an inch. Bought it to put lot codes on our products but it is useless. It also does not appear to be very sturdy like other stamps I have used in the past but I will never know how it holds up because I can't use it. There are no real instructions on how to install the ink pad and I can only assume you have to remove it and put the cover back on it after using the stamp. I don't have a problem with removing the pad if there was some instructions. There are little squeeze clips on the side of the inkpad that prevents you from sliding it into the unit unless you break the the tabs off but why are they there?

Great stamp!
Great stamp for pricing! I sell antiques and repurposed products and handstamp my price tags on recyclable paper bags and cardstock. This is as close to a pricing gun as I can egg while still reusing household paper recyclables for my tags. It has very nice guide arrows so you know exactly where you are stamping. I only wish it had a cents symbol.
