Thickening Shampoo - Rice Water for Thinning and Oily Hair - Volumizing Shampoo for Fine Hair, Weightlessly Removes Excess Oil - 8oz

I have thin baby-fine hair, and I mean EXTREMELY thin and baby-fine. It’s always been fine, but now that I’m in my 60s and no longer color my hair, it’s thinner than it used to be. Boldify products really help my hair to look fuller. At Thanksgiving, my sister hadn’t seen me in a while and she commented, “ your hair looks really nice—it looks thicker!” Now, about the new square bottle. I couldn’t squeeze one drop out of that bottle, so I removed the top, hoping a larger opening would help. There was a little silver tamper-protection seal over the opening! I could swear that the old squeeze bottles didn’t have that thing! Naturally, the product came out after I removed it. I have arthritis in my hands, but I was able to dispense the small amount needed. So, if you’re having trouble getting the bottle to dispense the shampoo, make sure the tamper-protection seal is completely removed. 12/13/2023–Revision to my review: Well, folks, this new bottle design is pretty bad. When you have arthritis, you have good days and bad days; I must’ve been having a good day when I originally wrote this review because since then I haven’t been able to squeeze hard enough to get the shampoo out. I went ahead and transferred the product into the old container. Hope the company reads these reviews and redesigns their bottle!

I am 69 and feel blessed to have most of my hair, although I have suffered thinning and hair loss after shampooing over the past few years. I had tried Avalon Biotin shampoo and conditioner which was good until they changed the formula and I saw more hair in drain after shampooing. I switched to Nature's Gate Biotin product and was much happier with results but saw they also changed formulas and while it was more effective than Avalon, wasn't as good as before. About 5 weeks ago, I noticed a change in my scalp and hair falling out more. I went on Amazon and did a search and came across Boldify and read mostly positive reviews and took a chance and ordered product. The first time I used it the amount of hair in drain was less and I liked how the hair felt afterwards. I used it again a few days later and now, even less hair in drain and hair was very soft and a bit fuller. I decided to order the conditioner and have used that once so far and the combo of both products has produced fabulous results. Much less hair loss and great feeling and looking hair. I can't vouch for any new growth of hair yet, but so far Boldify has surpassed my expectations. I have even ordered the leave in serum, which I have received but not tried yet. Note: Over the past few days, one or both shampoo and conditioner has been unavailable for a period of time. The product is not inexpensive by any means, but I would order it directly from the manufacturer if I had to, as I believe in the results from the Boldify line. I believe the list price is 19.95. I don't know how Boldify will work for everyone, but I am very happy and can attest to claims in the title about anti hair loss and fuller hair. I'm looking forward to trying the serum next.

This shampoo was noticeably better than other volumizing shampoos I've tried. It actually moisturizes while at the same time adding volume. Often moisturizing shampoos weigh my thin, fine hair down and cause it to separate and look like I have less hair...not this shampoo! The scent seemed a bit strong at first whiff, but it is a nice scent and not too overpowering. I do still notice dryness on the ends of my hair from it being chemically treated. However, I was still able to comb my fingers through it without tangling and that does not happen with other shampoos! I'm very much looking forward to also trying the conditioner on my ends. It just might be the perfect combination for me. I was a little surprised by the small size of the bottle for the price, however. Though it doesn't seem to take much product to get a good lather, so that is good. I will repurchase if I find this shampoo plus conditioner is that mentioned perfect combo...otherwise the size/price may give me pause to do so. We shall see!

At first I thought the square sided bottles were a good idea for space saving. After trying to pour/squeeze the product out the first time I hate it. The thickness of the plastic makes it very rigid so it doesn't bend. Combined with the small hole in the pour spout (spout isn't an adequate word for a hole this small). I tried storing it upside down so maybe it would dispense easier. But then I have to pop the lid open again, and that isn't easy either. This is a poorly thought out design for something to be used in a wet environment. I can't even remove the lid for pouring. It won't budge. For what the shampoo costs and the small amount in the bottle I'd think they could design a better vessel. At 60 years old I've never had this much trouble with a plastic bottle in my life. Now I'm forced to buy a different bottle to transfer the shampoo. I'll find a different shampoo. It's just not worth the hassle. The shampoo itself seems nice. I'm not a fan of the fragrance. It seems a bit like a medicinal or hospital product smell.

Definitely not worth the money. It didn't add any body to my hair. It left it feeling straw like.

So far so good! Started using this alongside the conditioner after having to cut off all my hair. After a lot of research into growth and thickening shampoo and seeing the product ingredients, this was my first choice! The Biotin sold it for me! So far I’ve had good growth when used alongside the conditioner and various oils and I can’t wait to keep using the product to grow my hair back!

Excellent shampoo - really does what it says. I have thinning hair and have tried dozens of allegedly thickening shampoos, with no success till now! I dry my hair after washing with a hairdryer, and you immediately see the thicker hair and body unlike others. Bit pricey but ultimately worth it!
