Easy to use!
Excellent diagnostic scanner for the DIY mechanic! I especially am impressed with the TPMS functions that are built in and easy to use. No need to bring your car or truck in for these services. A must have!

Very powerful bi-directional scan tool for TPMS and general diagnosis!
The Autel MX808-TS was able to immediately solve a TPMS issue of mine with a 2023 RAM 2500 that no tire shop was able to do. Shortly after replacement of tires a TPMS malfunction warning illuminated each time the vehicle was started. Two different reputable tire stores were not able to relearn the TPMS even though they could communicate with the individual TPMS sensors. After researching, I found this is a common issue with owners of RAM, Jeep, and Dodge vehicles. Many people just live with the warning lamp, but I tow large trailers and want early warning of a tire malfunction. This tool was able to read the individual wheel electronics as well as program the vehicle to recognize the locations of them and clear the faults associated with the TPMS through the Bluetooth OBD interface. It did require an AutoAuth subscription which was easy to obtain. Without this tool and the extended ability to read and program the TPMS sensors this would not be possible. I had inquired with the dealer about this before I purchased this tool, and they quoted a minimum diagnostic fee of one hour labor ($200/hr.) to begin the diagnosis of the TPMS issue. They suspected they would have to replace one or more TPMS sensors for several hundred additional dollars. This tool has already paid for itself and I will allow me to relearn our 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee as well when we have the tires replaced, as well as program Autel TPMS sensors when the batteries in ours die. Additionally, I have played around with the general diagnosis capability as well as various service functions and component activations (electronic parking brake service mode, service reminder reset, battery replacement registration, lamp activation, etc.). I highly recommend this tablet. Could not be happier.

Great DIY unit with lots of featrures.
Very nice unit with lots of features. I also picked up the Autel MV108S Inspection Camera to go with the unit. Very good build quality. I use it for the vehicles that I own (Ford, Lexus and VW). Highly recommended.

Very capable
Very capable product, but it’s not as easy to use as I’d like it to be. The documentation is scarce, with the online manual leaving a lot to be desired. I had to search on the web for how to use certain functions. Bottom line: very good product, terrible documentation.

works with Jeep Grand Cherokee WJ 2001 ABS, 2014 Ford Escape Titanium IA keys, 2010 Subaru TPMS
Able to interrogate ABS on a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee WJ and see live data verifying that the right front wheel was not moving with the other three wheels. Expect to clear that when the new right front wheel sensor is installed. Able to actuate the fuel pump solenoid, had a section to bleed ABS brakes add ignition and remote keys although didn't explore either. Indicated a faulty CD in the stereo and shorts and thermistor issues with the seat heater. Was recommended to use the Chrysler adapter but read codes at least without that. Able to add 2 IAK remote / ignition keys to a 2014 Ford Escape Titanium push button start and a review a slew of sensors. Read TPMS error codes on a 2010 Subaru Forester and expect to be able to clear the annoying dash light after i replace the tire pressure sensors. I think the 808 series is about to be outdated, hard to find on Autel's website, but think this model will be more than sufficient for my occasional needs. Hope the software updates will keep coming for a few years at least.

Easy to use
This is an overall awesome product! I had no check engine lights on and ran a full scan and it showed me hidden issues with the vehicle! Showed me things that didn’t trigger any signals! Used it to repair others vehicles and it have a better description of the issues! It also lets you print a report of their vehicle if there is multiple issues! This helps your customers see the true issues! I love it! The customers service is incredible too! They are very responsive!

Autel devices are great
So far I have used for a Fiat 500e which a local dealer won't touch since it is supposed to be a California only car. Then my ram truck needed reset for changing my mirrors. Overall I have adjusted the cost of the autel by half. Easy to use and to copy and record trouble should I need to take it in ... thanks

Sold my Snap-on Apollo D9 and bought this. I prefer the Snap-on for its screen size, resolution and menu layout, however at 1/5 of the cost, this Autel unit does everything the other one can! Loving it so far

Firstly I contacted Autel who told me that the MaxiSys v. MaxiCom v. MaxiCheck (MS/MK/MX) models are all THE SAME model, just different sales channels (Physical store v. Online shop, etc)... also the 808Z-TS and 808S-TS are the same too but different distributors. Hope that helps someone else from spending days/weeks of research. So far I've used it for TPMS on my in-laws 2014 Ford Focus.... I've cleared CBS (Conditional Based Service) lights on my 2016 Mini Countryman which said to take to the dealership for a arbitrary yearly inspection (no actual issues).... and I've cleared deep stored HVAC error codes from a 2009 Dodge RAM; codes that never manifested into an CEL, and were never shown on my little Autel AutoLink AL319 Code Reader. I can even add/delete keys which I have wanted to do for a while now. My only concern is what functions disappear when the 1yr free subscription runs out. Most auto manufacturers have been moving towards locking their diagnostic abilities behind internet-enabled, firewalled, servers, so you can't access without subscription.

i delt with autel .com (usa) the tech said that the other one would work on my smart carso i ordered it and it never came in 1mounth so the took my money and no product (money gone) so i asked autel .ca tech and they said the one i would need is the mx808 not mk808 and the were so helpful and sympathetic to my history could do nothing about the money but they made up for it in kindness and patience and said it would work on what i need and i ordered it anit came within 2 days (wow) and i used on my smart and fixed all the issues and all lights and faults out and did not come back on (wow) some people said just erase the codes with a code reader but that did not work so thankyou autel . ca not .com you are the best ps the scanner is easy to set up and register and use bottom line I LOVE IT . GOOD JOB .CA

Works good but constantly has software/firmware updates appearing. Hopefully I won’t need the $200 US per year subscription after the free included update period ends to continue using the updates, software and features I will have had loaded up to that point. Time will tell.

It has done everything asked from it. Not a lot of use yet but easily programed a new Honda key.
