I bought this set for my 7-year-old son who recently started learning English. I wanted something that was engaging but not overwhelming, and these graphic novels hit the sweet spot. Because of the illustrations, he can follow the plot easily even if he doesn't know every single word. It keeps him from getting frustrated, and he actually looks forward to reading time now. Graphic novels are so great for kids who say they don't like to read, and when they’re Magic Treehouse stories, you just cant beat them. The plots hold kids’ attention, and the format is wonderful for both advanced early and slower older readers. As an elementary school librarian, I couldn't keep the original ones on my shelves, and now I have a grandson finishing K but reading at a second grade level who won’t put these graphic novels down. Hope the author will continue to convert the series to graphics so I can keep buying them for him.

I think it’s the same (albeit shortened, and with pictures now) stories from my childhood! Should make the perfect gift for my beginning-to-be independent reader nephew! Item was also timely and undamaged.

These books are so beautiful! Beautifully illustrated and the content is amazing. My students will love them for years to come!

I bought these for my son to get ready for kindergarten next year. The books themselves look great and are of nice quality but the box is practically destroyed. I'm a little disappointed in the handling of these books.

These are so great!! My 7 year old son, who I've had a really hard time getting interested in reading, has been so focused on and excited about reading these. He's almost finished them, so I'm going to get him 5-8 for Christmas. Please, please keep making these! They're working miracles for my reluctant reader!

Full package was nice

We have enjoyed reading the magic treehouse novels to our son. He really enjoyed all the extra pictures and just the new interpretation of his favourite stories.

My son is an avid reader of comics and we read just about everything. This comics looks like a beginner attempt to make a comics in terms of combining visual and text. There are lots of pictures showing the same thing but 1 second later and no additional information. Sorry, I am just comparing it to Dave Pilkey comics lets say. Each picture in Dave Pilkey comics is full of new interesting information/dialogue and progress. The book itself is very good but this comics based on the book is not ...yet...Maybe there would be an improved version soon...hopefully
