GSI Outdoors Infinity 4 Person Compact Nesting Tableset for Ultra-Light and Compact with Cup, Bowls and Plates for Camping, RV, or BBQ

We haven't been disappointed with GSI camping cookware and tableware yet, and the Infinity 4-person nesting table set is no exception. This set includes 4 each of lightweight plates, mugs, and bowls that nest together in a clever way for compact storage, having roughly the same packed volume as our GSI Glacier Stainless Base Camp cookware set. Prior to purchasing this tableware set we were using four GSI Cascadian table sets https://www.amazon.com/GSI-Outdoors-Cascadian-1-Person-Table/dp/B001LF3IBG and that approach took up far more space in our camp kitchen tote than this does. You will need to add your choice of eating utensil; we prefer sporks for most meals to minimize dishwashing. The mugs' insulated sleeves are a bit flimsy and will not keep your coffee or hot cocoa hot for very long, but are perfectly fine for use during a meal. We use the GSI Infinity Backpacker Mug https://www.amazon.com/GSI-Outdoors-Infinity-Backpacker-Mug/dp/B078RLMB8Y or a Yeti tumbler when we're camping and are looking to keep coffee hot for a long time. The "bowls" don't look like bowls and have more of a cup form factor, but obviously the food tastes the same regardless. Our 10 year old is able to hand wash the table set on her own. There are no crevices or crannies where food can get stuck. We like that there are 4 different colors so each family member gets their own color for the trip.

I scoured shelves of several sporting goods stores looking for the most efficient dish set that my family and I could use, never really being satisfied with any for multiple reasons (i.e.: they weren't compact, they didn't come with bowls, or they were only sets of two, etc, etc). This set is absolutely perfect for what my family of three needed, as we often invite a cousin or friend along with us to accompany our child. :)) We love the fact that we each have our own color. The cups that double as bowls came in really handy. The mug sleeves slide right off for easy washing = bonus! The plates are a bit small and slim, but they worked very well for us - handling without incident our hot-off-the-grill food! And, I should note that my husband generally complains about "below par" items. We primarily use camp grates, campfire forks, or foil to cook our food, but when (if ever) we decide to purchase the GSI Pinnacle Base Camper set, this dish set will fit perfectly into it. We bought this set mainly for it's proclaimed durability and packability. While we have yet to determine for ourselves its true durability (we've only used it for one, four-day camping trip so far), I am thrilled about its lightweight and easily packable design! One of our favorite camping purchases!!

I have the GSI Infinity Pinnacle base camp set and got this set to accommodate more people. I actually took the entire set on a backpacking trip with 5 people and it worked great. A little heavier than most people would like, but having everything nest together made life simpler. I was able to add one of the plates from this set to the nesting pots and then kept the extra cup/bowl loose in my pack. I do wish that GSI would have different color combos for the sets. The Pinnacle set came with the same exact colors as this set, which makes the color coding only go so far. But if there were two different color sets - maybe purple, silver, black, and dark green? - then you could have 8 people at base camp all have their own plate/cup/bowl for the trip. I have the Light My Fire sporks to go with this set (side note: the curve of the LMF spoons fit perfectly in the curve of the GSI bowl!). I got two different sets of the sporks so the color coding works well with that. Maybe GSI could "copy" the colors that LMF uses for the spork sets? Overall, it's a great addition to the base camp sets and it can work well on its own.

I was at my local Gander Mountain store (outdoor/hunting/fishing store) and saw this product. I have noticed that Ganders prices are usually on the high end so I figured I would check online at Amazon. Good thing I did because this was half the price on amazon than at gander. I have not used this yet, but it is a plastic plates with 8 cups although they call four of them bowls. I will be camping in a few weeks so I might update this review if this product is junk, but I do not forsee that happening.

I believe these are meant for backpacking or camping. In those scenarios, one should know that people do not have access to a washing sink and what not. So, the cups after cleaning are not always going to be that clean. Then why would you design the product in such a way that the cups with sleeves are on the inside of the other cups? That will just make the sleeves dirty! Pros - lightweight and cups are a bit sturdy

I added this table set to my GSI Outdoors Pinnacle Backpacker Cookware Set and it fit very well, only issue is the plates cannot be nest under the pot so I just put it on top and hold it together. I've fill 1 cup with rice and it is enough for 4 person. The cups and bowls can be slightly difficult to separate but it is not an issue. Plates are very lightweight so when using outdoor must place something on it otherwise it'll fly. I've not wash with hot water or dishwasher, plates stays in shapes. Highly recommended!

Thry are just soooo small. If you are having a tiny meal.camping then it works but its just super small. Doesn't work well.

This is a great set to have. I couldn't see much use for backpacking as it's probably easier for each person to carry their own stuff, but this is great for car camping. It takes up hardly any space and opens up for a full dining set for 4. There's enough room in the mesh carrying bag to throw a few sporks too so you can have everything together for dining.

Plates are a little small. But this kit is great. Fits perfectly into the pot kit I had previously purchased. Also comes with a nylon and mesh bag to keep it together.
