Open bag, used, missing part

This cover is useless. When I put it on my iPad it was so tight that it curled the corners of my screen protector pulled the corners the corners away from the screen. Thinking it might be the protector was defective, I bought two and used both ot them. No help. Oh three occasions when I was trying to use it the strap on the back separated, causing the iPad to fall from my hand onto the floor. I have gone on Amazon to return the case, and I don’t get past the prompt “defective” without going to the next prompt. I’m calling Amazon to address this issue and see if they will make it right. I advise against purchasing on of these covers.

We decided to buy this iPad protector couple of months ago as an upgrade from the cheaper ones we were using for our previous iPads. My daughter dropped it yesterday and the screen cracked everywhere. You can see from the picture where the bottom part of the frame came off during the fall. We have AppleCare so everything will be fine with the iPad; however, I don't see how this product offered any protection at all. Our cheaper protectors with less stars worked better!!
