Nice way to prevent fingers or anything else going into the fan. Fits well. Not sure about dust catching yet but nice add on for the Amazon basics fans I bought.

My fan was a little to big for these but would be great if fit properly

We have one of those expensive stand fans. I was ordering a new cover for it as well as this item to keep the dust from blowing across the room. The manufacturer told me not to cover it in anyway, because it will affect the way the fan works and the motor burn out. When I receive this, I realize that this design in such a way, but it does not interfere with the motor at all, and does a great job and keeping some of the dust from flying around without interfering with the air circulation.

We love this to help keep the kiddos and babies to be tempted to play in the fan. Our littlest used to try to play with all the fans till we bought different sizes of these and she seemed highly disinterested after putting these on. & we didn’t have to worry Nearly as much about her being able to stick her fingers in through that mesh.
