Great Read!
This is a great book! Cas writes in a down to earth and humorous style that is extremely easy to relate to. She offers a logical approach to getting a grip on the clutter in your home. I finally know why I want to organize the way I do (I’m a ladybug!)

Enjoyable and useful organizing book
This is the most enjoyable organizing book I ever read. It provided practical solutions rather than being prescriptive (only one way to do it). The stories were entertaining without taking over the whole book. (Check spelling though - one of the chapter titles is using ‘your’ instead of ‘you are’ or ‘you’re’. And editor error.)

Life Changing
I first found this book at a neighborhood "little library". Then I had to return it and buy myself a copy. I have since then given two more copies as gifts. I absolutely am so Thankful for this book. I was living in clutter and did not even see it. ! This book "clicked" for me. Totally inspiring. Totally do-able. Her writing is fab, the pictures are beautiful. I cannot even say how much this book helped me. I took the quiz, found out I am a "butterfly". You don't have to buy a bunch of shelving or cubbys or storage storage storage... the key is knowing what your style is, and starting with intention, very small easy goals... tidy up one Junk Drawer.. give away or throw out what no longer serves you...just 30 minutes a day, do one small area or category. One shelf, one closet, and after that, I was on a roll! I have found so much peace in letting the things Go, even sentimental items, and making it beautiful and calm. It's like a training course to become your own custom interior designer! I love my home now. I picked up some really great habits too like taking just five minutes to tidy up, and really thinking about what things I am tempted to buy but might not even need, and have to de-clutter later on.. I mean. It's bonkers! Thank you Cass!!!

If I wanted a pile I wouldn't need a book LOL
I'm not a young Mom just starting out. I'm an older person with years of bad habits under my belt. If "I" can find something that inspires me as much as this wonderful young woman and her smart, sassy, silly, nurturing, down to earth style then everyone will. I saw myself in her pages just as I've seen myself in her YouTube videos. I've already made big changes and am reaping the benefits.. As we age we might not have the patience or energy on some days to run around like a chicken with our heads cut off trying to find that "whatchathingy" we KNOW we own. We get tired of wasting time finding that bill or coupon or list we KNOW we JUST saw. With the kid years behind us we often yearn for peace and a tidy organized home. Cass knows how we feel and she has an idea how to fix it. No little shrines to your ratty tee shirts, no goodbye notes to your chipped plates . This is a book for those of us who don't have time for that foolishness..we want to live our lives and DO things. In short we want our homes to serve us not the other way around. THANK YOU Cass for putting into words what we know in our hearts, Oh and as final note..the book is pretty and will look lovely on your clean bookshelf

LOVE THIS BOOK, CHANGED MY LIFE!!!
I initially rented this book from the library. It has seriously changed my life in a positive way - soooo very grateful!! I only wish I had learned these techniques when I was younger (now 43), better late than never. Getting organized has improved my attitude and emotional well-being also - had no idea those were connected until now.I decided to buy the book and get my husband and two teenage daughters on board, as they deserve the benefits of simple organization too, we can work together as a team with minimal effort, just takes the "routine" and "good, not perfect" mindset as mentioned in the book. (Note: I initially adopted these techniques while purging and remodeling a house in a different state, was AWESOME, got compliments from family.)P.S. The only thing a little frown-inducing was when the author calls herself a slob or lazy. Just because she didn't learn how to organize efficiently when she was younger or have the desire to spend tons of time on housework doesn't make her either of those, just... disorganized. She seems to understand from an ADHD perspective too, totally appreciated that not everyone can "stay on task" naturally, but she really makes it easy to get things done, quickly and efficiently.

This book actually works. Buy this book and change your life.
I usually don't write reviews. The most I usually do is rate something after Amazon sends me an email. I am paying it for by writing one for this book. I am also returning a favor to all the reviewers I depend on before buying something on Amazon. I love this book. It is a fast read. The author is funny and it has lots of pictures. I read it in 3 days. I don't usually finish reading books either. I could have read it in one day but I have 3 kids and a job. I was so inspired to declutter that I started decluttering after only reading half the book at work when I got home the same evening. It's changed my life. No exaggeration. I have several books on decluttering and organizing, including Marie kondo and Peter walsh, this is the best one. I feel in control. The author, cas aarssen, gives detailed advice on where to start and what kind of "clutterbug" you are. I wanted to suggest my favorite chapter but the whole book is great advice. The picture I added is her in/out system. Learn about it in her book. I paid for this book. I did not get it for free. I also subscribe to her YouTube channel.
