Okay, my wife has an almost addiction to Blistex. Unfortunately, she's passed that particular gene on to some of my kids, and that's why I buy this in bulk. (Pause. Deep breath. Sigh. Shake my head:) Moving on... Personally, I like a stick like Burt's Bees that lasts forever and doesn't need to re-applied nearly as often, but I'm not reviewing that here. So, here's the bottom line: This is outstanding lip balm that protects and aids healing. My wife swears by it, and it's a great product that I have no choice but to highly recommend in bulk at a fair price.

Blistex Lip Medicated Ointment is my go-to whenever my lips get really dry or cracked. It has a strong menthol scent and cooling sensation that might be intense at first, but it works fast to soothe and heal. The ointment is thick and moisturizing, perfect for overnight use. Been using Blistex for years and I’m glad I found a source for it. Seller was prompt and at a great price.

After my first ski trip at 19, I returned with dry, cracked, “almost-bleeding” lips. My local pharmacist recommended Blistex, and my lips felt relief immediately and healed quickly. I’ve been using it ever since whenever my lips feel dry. Sometimes I put a “dot” of it over my lipstick. I carry one in my purse, and one in a small first aid box in my glove compartment when I drive out of town. I prefer this version of the product because it has a built-in applicator, where other versions require you use your finger or something to spread it evenly on your lips. For me, it’s the “Neosporin” for the lips.
