I bought these rubber equipment mats for my home gym and they’ve worked really well. I ended up purchasing 24 pieces total, and they covered the space nicely and made the area feel much more finished and put together. The mats are comfortable underfoot and not too hard, but they’re still sturdy enough to handle weights, workouts, and equipment without denting or feeling weak. They’ve stayed in place well and create a good, stable surface to exercise on. I also really like the color. It adds a nice look to the space instead of just being plain flooring, and it definitely makes the gym feel complete. These SUPERJARE exercise mats are absolutely fantastic! I gave them 5 stars because they've completely transformed my home gym setup. The thickness (0.56 inches) provides excellent cushioning, making workouts so much more comfortable, especially for exercises that involve impact. The fact that you get 24 interlocking tiles covering 96 square feet is a huge plus – it's plenty of space for all my equipment and floor exercises. The rubber top feels really durable and provides great grip, so I don't have to worry about slipping. Plus, the high-density EVA foam underneath seems like it will hold up really well over time. These are definitely better than the foam ones but there is still a lot of squish in there. I suppose that could be a good thing but I find it difficult to move our weight liftin bench on wheels because it sinks into the foam too much. Granted there is some very thin turf like carpet beneath the mats... Otherwise they look great and are what I'd expect. They do come with a decent amount of rubber smell initially... what with them bein rubber that shouldn't bee too much of an issue.

Haven't used for workouts yet, so time will tell. Best price on Amazon (or anywhere) for the thickness and quality. As most have said, somewhat strong chemical odor out of the package, but just let them sit in the garage for a week and it will dissipate. I left the window open and used odor absorbing gel containers once installed which also helped. They met my >.5 inch requirement and although the first few did slide a bit on a laminate underfloor the weight of several together held them in place well, though I did go wall-to-wall to ensure a solid feel. Notes: don't leave them in the sun or they can fade (from manufacturer); they have a strong static cling effect so any dust or debris will stick to them and will need to be vacuumed or wiped off before laying down; they go together well but each joint has to be pinched and pulled a bit to get them to lay flat; there was some slight color difference in a few of the pieces so I just used them under equipment and it can't be noticed; there is a one-way ridge pattern (like paint strokes) on each so be sure to match the pattern if you want a uniform look; squares have a unique angled joint in the middle of each side, unsure why but perhaps to keep them from being used with other brands?; they cut easily with a good sharp utility knife but make sure you switch new blades out often as the rubber gunks them up quickly; when making very narrow precise cuts it works better to flip them over and cut from the softer bottom side; they will significantly absorb ambient light in a room so consider increasing lighting to compensate; each square comes with 2 edge pieces so you'll have a bunch left over, I kept them for filling gaps; consider getting an extra box for safe keeping in case you need to replace some squares in the future and they're discontinued
