Heritage by Guerlain for Men - 3.4 oz EDT Spray

I can't imagine that there's a safer blind buy then any of their quality products that you may care to try. I have now purchased three of their men's fragrances without ever having tried them before and I have never been disappointed. I first bought their classic Vetiver eau de toilette. I found it to be beautiful; something that I could wear anytime anywhere. My second purchase was Habit Rouge edt. which was love at first spray. Words can't describe how perfect this scent was for me and how much I love it. This has now become my signature fragrance. This leads me to my more recent purchase of the scent called Heritage. Heritage, while bearing the essential D.N.A. shared by all Guerlain fragrances, is a stand-out. While it would be perfect to wear at State dinners and other formal occasions, curiously works just as well with blue jeans. The common denominator between these two examples would be the fact that the wearer is a very classic classy grown-up man. It imparts a rich warm glowing sense of security and beauty which seems to envelop you. Wearing it can transform you into the noble king you always thought you were, or the handsome prince you always wished you could be!

"Wow, this is how a mans fragrance should smell like." This initial impression from 2 spritzes at a fine department store continued well into dry down several hours later. This prompted me to make an Amazon purchase at ~ half the department store sticker price. I really don't pick out individual notes' per se as Heritage is a wonderfully blended fragrance. Strong, yet not overpowering, solid woody earthy vibe toned down by pleasant sweet florals, and a strong initial punch that grabs you without being too harsh. The initial sweet woody vibe evolves into a more woody earthy lean, yet never crosses the line into being pungent. I can smell it on myself for 3 to 4 hours, lasts 8 to 9 hours on my skin. Since my skin tend to eat up most fragrances within 2 to 3 hours, "Heritage" has very good performance. Although "Heritage" mostly favors a dress up formal affair, I like it so much that I'd gladly wear it on any occasion. I hope the supply of "Heritage" never runs out.

Here is a fragrance that has quite a depth to it. It's natural, a woody scent that is well blended with several others that attaches to men and won't let go! Women are quite intrigued with this scent too - more than most would expect. Expensive, not really. Worth it, most definitely!! Guerlain fragrances are both well known and have an exceptional history in both men's and women's preferences of scent. A 3.3 oz. bottle of Heritage will last you a long time. Longevity of this cologne is 8-10 hrs. while it's projection is just right. Not to much, not to little - just right. I'm sure your girl/wife will not be disappointed in any respects. Enjoy!!

If you were to open a Swaine briefcase full of bearer bonds and pull out a cedar cigar box, you'd likely recognize the scent of someone wearing Heritage. This fragrance embodies the essence of old wealth. It's redolent of a wood-paneled library in a traditional gentleman's club, complete with a well-worn billiard table. While it has elements of freshness, I believe they've crafted this scent to evoke the aroma of freshly printed money as closely as possible. It features the Guerlainade accord among its many notes, yet it feels fresher than the version I experienced 30 years ago.

I've been using Heritage as my "signature scent" for decades now, and I'm still getting the same "What scent is that?", You smell great! Where did you get it?" reactions to it. I've usually had to buy it in Europe, or in the U.S. directly from a Guerlain store, in order to make sure I'm getting the genuine item. In the past, my online experience had not been the best, as I had received knock-offs from other merchants. That wasn't the case with this purchase. I received the genuine article, at an excellent price from this supplier. I will definitely be back for more!

Smells for like 5 minutes, then it disappears completely, all perfumes last a long in my skin but this one is just alcohol with some fragrance, it looks like this is a fake

A classic from the masters, Guerlain…👌

I was torn whether to give this cologne three or four stars. I made the mistake of relying on internet video advice on this purchase. It was near the top of more than one review list as a classic man's fragrance. It is very unique and different than the others in my collection, so went on the high side. I also like that it's not an over bearing fragrance, at least after it dries. It's suitable for work at that point. The problem is that at first it has what I'd describe as a heavy incense aroma. I don't like incense very much, but I know others do. After some time it transforms into almost an altogether different cologne with a cleaner, nicer, expensive smell that I like much better. I'd say it takes an hour or two for the heaviness to dissipate. For this reason, I'm selective about when to use it. For me, it's not immediately pleasurable, so I'm giving it four stars.

Das Geld auszugeben zahlt sich aber auf alle Fälle aus, an Textilien z. B. riecht man ihn nach einer Woche an der Garderobe hängen immer noch.

I have a thing for patchouli, I wear it every day so I was looking for something that would pair nicely and this is a lovely combination of scents with a subtle patchouli base. The top notes are really nice, I like Bergamot too. To my nose/skin it has a nice pine woody tone. It does actually remind me of my grandfather, which is interesting because it is described as old fashioned, (although I don't feel old fashioned wearing it).
