Hey friends. I’ll be honest, this was bought as a cheap fix to an expensive problem. These markers perform exactly as advertised. To vent- frickin ford and their frickin cheap “chrome” plastic on an expensive “classic” like the retro bird. The plastic chrome stinks. These markers are roughly $300 cheaper than ordering new old stock parts and waiting for them to delaminate. Does it look great? Nawh. Does it work? Exactly as advertised. If you’re a little tipsy, I think you’ll be happy with the work they do. I’m sure you’d have better luck with some fancy artwork, or maybe chroming something else, but I’m very satisfied with the quick “touch up” use on fake plastic chrome. 5/5 product, 1/5 ford.

I have not written a review before, if it's a poor product, I don't order from the company again. These pens are just as described....... First time ordering a pen, researched many for awhile then decided on these pens. Honestly...I thought for sure I wouldn't order again. Well....I have placed another order. I'm amazed how they look exactly like chrome once try,no streaking or overruns, fills in scratches(just add a little more in the area). What you should do for perfect application is push on the pen on the item you are chroming. To get the pen started I push the tip down on a piece of cardboard, wipe the end of tip off then applied. Never do this on the item. There is a short window where you can stop then restart due to the pen tip possibly picking up dust or debri or you want a heavier application in that area. Most of the time it's not the pen being defective. Best Wishes folks!

I like to a lot of repair and woodworking projects and sometimes, like when working with black metal or plastic, a regular Sharpie style marker won't cut it for marking length of items of holes to be drilled. This little paint pen is perfect for these purposes as it has a fine enough point to get through small holes to mark the surface underneath, and it bonds well to metal and plastic. I used it to mark the VIN of my old trailer in case the Vin plate I attached falls off at some point in the future. It was easy to work with and flowed nicely, even when used upside down (I did have to shake it a couple of times, but that's to be expected). Great value for a nice paint pen.

To my surprise they performed pretty well. I have a few after market emblems that have shed their chrome completely to just a little. The ones where their chrome was completely gone, these worked perfectly! The ones that had some chrome still left, they still worked but you had to be really diligent. The more chrome that was left the more difficult it was to work with. I was also pleased with the chrome look of these paint pens.
