These speakers really sound great. I actually told a buddy at work I was going to buy them, and he bought them before I did and installed them on his truck. I liked them so much I bought them and put them in mine. Can’t beat JBL. Great value for what they are. I’m running factory head unit and they were a great upgrade from the factory speakers. 2002 GMC Sierra. Easy plug and play if you buy the GM speaker harness adapters.

Put these in my crx for rear speakers good clear sound in a verity of music, no complaints radio is a cheap Pyle 4 channel 200w 50w each output.

Because of AA few reviews and videos I read it and watched this was my choice for my 2006 Harley Davidson street glide. I had to use adapters that changed the 5 and a quarter hole to a 6 1/2 speaker. I'm using the stock radio which just has enough power for them but you can quickly tell how clear and loud these speakers and someday I will be installing an amp to drive them a little harder. These are a high quality speaker that makes the stock radio sound Like you have a small amp already so I'm very happy with it.

These might be the best speakers you can get for bass and responsiveness without an amp or any other wiring. This seller offers them for a great price, the quality is amazing, and it looks pretty sleek. I only have two complaints, if you drive them hard the tweeter distorts, and the logos provided are stickers. Overall a great product and will fit perfectly in any 6.5” door hole.

Installed these 6.5” JBL GTO 629 speakers in the rear doors of my 2006 Tacoma and am very pleased with their sound performance. I used the Metra 6.5” bracket, 6.5”Silicone Baffles, and Red Wolf speaker wiring for Toyotas. I am running a head unit that provides 45W per channel and a EQ. The depth & clarity of sound is amazing in all ranges. I am using the 0 db setting on the push button for the tweeter. As the speakers break in, the bass is hitting much harder. I attribute a lot of this performance to the silicone baffles working with the speakers. Also, the mounting depth, provided by the Metra bracket, cleared the rear window perfectly when it is lowered. I am very pleased with these speakers so far. Will report back on their reliability if they fail.

These are a great update to my stock speakers. The audio is crisp and clear, the build quality is great, and even with the stock headunit, the sound is really good! The adjustable tweeters are easy to swivel, and I'm happy with the results after I installed them. They're are worth the money and perform at the price level I was able to get them at.

JBL, aka Harman Kardon, manufactures high quality home and car audio, found on many luxury automobiles such as BMW and Mercedes. These sound very nice, and look even better. Clear, loud, clean highs, and good mid-bass. They do require amplified signal to sound to their full potential. They don’t put much strain on the amp. If mounted near bottom of the doors or somewhere near floors, I suggest to engage +3 dB button for the highs and point the tweeters towards your sitting location by turning them on their axis. I have set of Morels in my truck which I spend almost triple the price of these JBL GTO’s, and these JBL’s sound much better then Morels. I will be buying a second set of JBL GTO for my rear doors as a matching pair.
