Yes! These are worth the money. I questioned my sanity at first spending over 20 bucks on 3 little mice. I tied these to a cat fishing pole and my cats are playing like never before. I’ve used other “mice” before that were not made out of real animal fur and they quickly got bored. Not with these. They are now getting daily exercise that they need. These are well worth the price. Very sturdy too!!!

Great toy for kittens! Gets them to forget about biting your hands and feet. Gets your kitty to let out their inner panther. Mine growls and hisses when you try to take it away. So I highly recommend not taking it off of the wand string. Remember not to yank/pull hard the toy away or you’ll accidentally pull teeth. Also put this toy away for 2 days and rotate it with another cat toy so they don’t get bored. My kitten likes the silvervine stick with feathers, the flexible cardboard toy (3 pcs) switched out with this toy.

This deer hair snake is the most durable deer hair refill I have found. My 7 year old female cat will only play with deer hair mice etc. on the go cat wire wand. The original da rat/mouse etc. refills only last 2 or three play sessions before large clumps of fur fall off them. So far, I have tried deer hair mice/rats from 5 different places/brands, some of these on amazon, ebay and other stores. Three of these were less durable than da rat. One handmade one that I got on ebay was very durable, but my cat did not like it since it did not move like the da rat and the deer hair was very rough. This cool cyber cat deer hair snake was the fifth one I have tried. This one has been a winner so far. My cat loves the deer hair, it is just the right softness (she is a deer hair connoisseur). The durability is very good and this toy is very well made and stands up to my cat's play. This has been the most durable deer hair refill we have tried so far. Since my cat prefers rats/mice to snakes, I have ordered some of those and we are looking forward to trying those from this company soon.

UPDATE: I'm in for my fourth order from this lot of products. Toys are definitely loved. However, if you have a destroyer cat like my Kit, I really recommend the buffalo hair frog. It has held up the best. The deer hair toys get destroyed quickly due to the staple of the hair. The buffalo is a bit harder to rip the hair out of because the hair felts. However, it seems that the hair on the frog is pre-felted a bit and really holds up the best. I need to replace ours, though, because its "legs" have been ripped off and he loves to play fetch with it and carry it around in his mouth and has salivated over it so much that it pretty much looks like a recently-expelled hairball. I had a similar deer-fur toy when I had two cats who were in their mid-teens. I had to take it off the wand because my younger cat would freak out when I would put the wand toy away, but I couldn't leave anything with a string or wire out around him as he would ingest them. Well, when those two passed the toy still existed. I now have two other cats and the kitten ripped that original toy apart within a month. I came here looking for replacements. Very discouraged at so many other listings talking about poor quality mice and possible fakes. While this wasn't the same brand as the toy I'd had, I felt reassured by the reviews. Well, they aren't lies! I got a buffalo frog, a deer frog, and a deer tadpole. The tadpole I have to really monitor because the kitten (10 mnths now) will sometimes start sucking on it and I'm afraid he's going to rip it apart like he did another fur-and feather toy (green feathers in the litter box? fun!). But he has good manners with the other two and will play with them obsessively. As a bonus, they are very aerodynamic for playing fetch.

Let’s face it: the Go Cat fishing poles are a little spendy. And my young cat destroys the original attachment — bee, mouse, etc. — almost immediately. These refill packs are a little cheaper, more numerous and make my cat happy. My one complaint might be more related to my cat: they shed fur almost immediately and cause carnage all over the floor. I just assume that means he loves them. He literally is begging me to play with the remains of one right now. It’s missing most of its tail and fur and is mostly core now. But he loves it and drags it around the house. I find it in bed sometimes. I’m guessing it’s the natural fur/hair that makes him so crazy for the pole. It’s well worth it to keep buying these. The loop they attach with is amazingly sturdy — most of the time the toy has lost all its fur before the loop ever breaks. Worth it to keep buying these replacements. I think I’m on my second pack. There’s nothing sadder than my cat when I have put his pole away to give myself a break, after he has reduced the toy to a tiny shred of core.

Great toys, my cats are immediately obsessed, I even had hide one in the middle of the night because one of my cats was dragging the entire pole around my apartment making all kinds of noise. I think that animal smell makes a big difference! Also good quality. I’ve tried undyed felted wool toys before as well and my cats LOVE them but completely destroy them within just a couple days. These are holding up well so far to lots of chewing and licking.

My cats absolutly LOVE these little guys. Chase them all over the place and really enjoy them. Will be purchasing again!

These mice are very well made, with bison and deer skin. They're also made in Montana and not overseas. My cats LOVE these mice! As soon as I hooked them up to short wands and started wiggling them on the floor, both cats pounced. I might as well get rid of 90% of the cat toys I've acquired the past four years because mice like these (and sparkle balls) are far and away my cats' favorites!

Service received was excellent. They were very helpfull and quick response to address my request. Will do business again with them. My cats love it and I’m happy. Toy is well built and all natural. (No metal & no plastic).
