Absolutely, there are studies! There are enough that I need to ask you to be more precise in what you want to know. Which ingredient are you interested in, for what population, and concerning what symptoms? Your local library may be able to help you access research databases that will allow you to search to your heart's content. State libraries may be used by any taxpayer, and some medical schools will allow community members a day pass. There is also research showing lack of/poor sperm count in males with homozygous A1298C variant of MTHFR, higher risks of pre-eclampsia in pregnant women, etc., etc., At this point, I'm surprised that routine screening has not yet become a standard of care. I hope that the variation of research articles here has helped you to understand why a more precise question is needed for a direct answer. No single study will do it (and never does). How about 2 decades of research? :)

There seems to be some confusion about the difference between Methyl-Guard and Methyl-Guard PLUS, which costs twice as much as the regular Methyl-Guard listed on this page.Jana B.'s answers above seem to list the ingredients of the plus version, although the amounts appear to match that of the regular version. (?)This version does NOT have Riboflavin (B2) (Riboflavin 5'-Phosphate Sodium). I love the old one (helps with depression) but the plus gives me a migraine.

Quality product that really makes a difference

I tell people that this is the first time I have ever felt a vitamin that I took. I have taken other B12 supplements in the past but this is the first one to significantly improve my B12 labs. It may seem expensive but I only take one a day so a bottle lasts me 6 months.

So far, so good!

I am not a medical professional. I find this product to be of great quality. It helps me to function on tired mornings, and seems to be working when I take it as part of my morning supplement regimen. I have had no issues with the taste nor the smell. Careful not to overdo it with this and other products that contain redundant ingredients. Always read your labels carefully and cross check for redundancies. Happy with this thus far.

This is amazing

I never write reviews for supplements. I started taking this because I started using an NAD+ patch. They recommend taking a menthylation supplement. (I'd never even heard of it). I took 3 tablets in the morning before my patch. Within 30 or 45 minutes, I immediately felt great, energetic. I can't even explain it. I hadn't changed anything else. I thought , "no way". I decided to take it the next day as well. Same thing! More energy, clear head, sort of, maybe happier. I can't believe. I've never a supplement do that for me. I have taken everything. I am menopausal and take HT (Evamist and progesterone 200mg). But this is the first thing I have taken to truly have an immediate impact. I can't say you will have the same results. Like I mentioned, I bought for a completely different reason. I'm thrilled with how it makes me feel. It's been 4 days now. It's wonderful.

Proven efficacy

Im not much for reviews but this is awesome! I had my homocysteine up at 12.97 and after a few months of this at my last draw it was down to 7.49!! Definitely works!! Proven!!

A key product for anyone with the MTHFR Gene. Really, the only thing you need (unless you are homozygous (have both genes).

Good quality, supports methylation cycle well.

Since I have a double mutation on a gene that is important for the methylation cycle, I need to take this every day now. I feel the difference immediately when I miss a few days.

Great for vitamin B deficiencies

I was having terrible muscle pains and went to my doctor. Blood work was done and it was found that I was severely deficient in the B vitamins (malabsorption issues in my digestive system). I did the injection of B vitamins in the doctor's office but needed to go on supplements to correct the deficiency long-term. I bought these and take two tablets, three times a day. I am now in to my second refill and it is four months later. The muscle pain has gone away, so has the numbness in my feet. I also feel like I have more energy.
