3M Safety-Walk Medium Duty Tread, Gray, 4-Inch by 60-Foot

I used the tape for a trailer ramp to cover the bare aluminum. Now I don't have to worry about calling 911 every time I walk up this ramp. Although pricey, it's the best tape available and it sticks very well. I'm glad I bought it and would recommend it to anyone looking for good safety walk tape.

This is by far the best option I’ve found, but that said if you’re installing it on a wooden porch, steps, stairs or handicap ramp outdoors you will have to screw down the corners with preferably stainless steel screws with washers & staple middle area. No adhesive will keep it intact due to temperature fluctuations.

I purchased this to put on the steps from the deck to the yard for my blind dog so she would know where the steps started. It said for steps, walks etc. to prevent slipping, so thought it was going to be okay. I SPOKE TO SOON.....THE TAPE STARTED ROLLING UP AFTER A WEEK AND I COULDN'T GET IT BACK DOWN. HAD TO THROW IT AWAY. SURE WISH IT HAD WORKED AS IT WAS SUPPOSE TO AS IT WAS HELPING HER. WAS A WASTE OF $84.90. BUT I HAD TO TRY IT FOR MY LOVING DOG.

The only "issue" with the product is that the adhesive doesn't seem to be very strong, and it often comes loose, depending on what surface it is placed on.

So far so good...hasn’t peeled...placed outdoors on boating dock...will know more after winter season and spring rains..
