American Girl WellieWishers Camille Doll

I needed this for a neighbor girl, who lost her to her dog. This was a life saver

This was a gift for my step daughter so I didnt actually see it out of box until Christmas day. These WellieWishers are smaller than the original American Girl Dolls. I had a American Girl Doll as a child and for smaller hands, I'm a much bigger fan of thess WellieWisher dolls. Plus, they're gorgeous and great quality. The hair on these dolls is much better than the original AGD. I plan on purchasing my daughter one next Christmas!

I purchased this as a gift for my five year old grand daughter and she loves it! The WellyWisher dolls are a little smaller than the "regular" American Girl dolls, but the quality is just as good. The size of this doll is very well suited for a smaller child and easier to cuddle and play with.

We bought this doll for our two year old daughter for Christmas. She absolutely adores it. The doll is delicate and beautiful. Its silky shiny hair was carefully wrapped with net when we opened it. Very well-thought move. The only thing is that the doll comes with a hair clip that is not in good quality and the hair clip broke minutes after my daughter played with it. She ends up using her own cute hair clips on the doll. Overall I like this doll and I recommend it as a gift!

First of all, this line of dolls is about the only one that to me is cute and not creepy. My daughter absolutely loves the doll, however it came with a crack in the shoulder, and after two weeks my daughter put her into a sitting position and the plastic in the hip socket broke and the leg came off. Needless to say, many tears ensued. I called American Girl directly and they said they know they have an issue with this product. So you can either ship at your cost OR take it to the American girl store and they will ship at their cost, to the doll hospital where it will be assessed for defect. I will update my review with the result, as the doll is still at the doll hospital. The customer service rep said while they generally only honor a full replacement for products bought directly from AG, because there is a known defect with a batch of their dolls, the hospital will likely replace for free. The price from AG is the same as Amazon, so consider buying directly from them for better warranty coverage - I certainly will in the future. Customer service so far seems excellent, but we will see.

This is our third purchase of the Wellie Wishers collection. Absolutely love them! Camille is no exception. Budget friendly at 60.00 and will provide your child with hours if imaginative play. You can also purchased books and accessories separatly, which we have and love. A great addition to out American Girl collection. Would recommend and buy this product again.

This is one of the things that was on my granddaughter's Christmas list. When she opened her present she had the happiest look on her face. She said it was exactly what she wanted and she was so glad Santa Claus got it for her.

Camille is a beautiful little doll with beautiful hair, details and clothing including boots. She is well made and good value for the money. She is such a perfect gift for our grand daughter.

Update: 3 stars to 5 stars! awesome customer service received from American girl doll to resolve the issue. Thumbs up! ============================ It's a really beautiful doll and we love everything about it. However, as per the past reviews, we noticed a rattling sound after about 1 month. 2 months later, there's a significant gap at her left leg. Our 7 year old is always gentle when playing with it and we strongly believe it's a manufacturing defect since it is apparent that this problem is not new.
