Little Giant 599059 CV-114/112 Check Valve

Nice flapper check valve which was easy to install. Although the rubber couplings don't have a lot of extra room for adjustment the bands worked smoothly and tightened down with ease. I bought this check valve because I had a customer with spring loaded check valve on their sump pump which was sticking open do to debris. This caused their sumps to short cycle and run more often and necessary. This flapper worked smoothly in such a dirty environment and the check held the discharge with out backflow. The system is now working fine. Will update if any problems develop with the product.

Better than running to Home Depot, cheaper too.

Inexpensive. Works great.

Allowed water to flow back. Never could get it to operate correctly even with an 8 ft column of water on top.

Works good, does what it supposed to do. Only 4 stars because I only received one of two rubber boots. Gave the company feed back on missing boot, never heard back from them. So I went to Ace and bought a boot, works fine.
