My two openers are 1997 Overhead Door Legacy 1/2 HP models. The original keypad had stopped being dependable, even with a new battery. This keypad was approximately 1/5 the cost of the identical appearing name brand unit. The instructions are clearly written but in a minuscule font. Using my phone as a magnifier I was able to write down the sequence of key presses necessary to program the keypad for both doors, starting with the reset combo. Once programed the keypad worked flawlessly for both doors. Print this out and have someone read it to you while you press the buttons. This is the sequence for two doors. Assuming your chosen key code is '1234', the entire sequence is: Press and hold Program (PRG) and the up/down (UD) buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds to do a factory reset, then press 3 5 7 PRG 1 2 3 4 PRG (wait for lights off) 1 2 3 4 PRG PRG 2 PRG (Now press the program mode button on the door opener until its light flashes, then go back to keyboard buttons) 1 2 3 4 UD 1 UD several times slowly until the opener responds. (Now press program mode button on the second door opener until its light flashes, then go back to keyboard buttons) 1 2 3 4 UD 2 UD several times slowly until the opener responds. Long, but simple. Note the battery orientation when removing to screw the keyboard to the door jamb.

Works perfectly with my older garage door opener! Just double checked the model number and ordered. I liked the first 2 pack so much, I went ahead and ordered 2 more just to be safe since the opener is an older model. It is great to have new (good working) openers since my old ones were wearing out. Would recommend product.

It’s very easy to setup and works well

the directions were not so clear about opening to check the battery. You need to know to take the hook off and remove the screw before trying to open it. So far so good on using it, also you need to know the button after pushing to open or close it does have about a 20 second delay, otherwise pretty good

This keypad is made of quality material. The buttons and functionality is straight forward and it is compatible with our Genie Garage Door opener. It came with batteries and took me less than 5 minutes to program and mount. It is the same size as the Genie Keypad that it replaced.👍🏼

Me cotizaron muy caro varios proveedores de puertas el reemplazo de mi control remoto orginal. Estos controles remotos llegaron a tiempo, se sienten de buena calidad y funcionan bien. Busqué un tutorial en YouTube de como configurarlos con la marca de mi motor y resulta que es muy sencillo!! (en 1 minuto lo haces). Tengo un motor Overhead Legacy ya con varios años de uso y estos controles nuevos, funcionan perfectamente.
