Matrix Resurrections, The (4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray)

Could this movie technically stand alone? Yes, but it's better understood if you watched the trilogy. Awesome movie with is pacing and how to understand the lore. Worth the watch.

I am so happy I bought this movie, because this was a really good movie.

Matrix Ressurections was dope in it's own right. This is coming from a avid fan of the series. It does not rival the past films. You absolutely need to view all 3 previous films to have a complete understanding of the current film. 90% of the people who are rating this and that I've spoken too, have not watched past part 1. The futuristic concept was cool in terms of how everything evolved over time. There are no holes in the story line far as everything that is now happening in the currnt film. Everything is explained thoroughly. The big reveal at the end was the big unknown rumor that has stirred for years. That Trinity is the source.... That is huge in every sense of this series. No iconic fight scenes here unfortuenely and it even dappled into the resident evil vibe for just a minute. I'm surprised people did not like it. People love zombie themes. The new cast is ok. Their newer and younger actors on the scene. Take some getting used to. I would have re-shot some of their scenes just because I did not like the look of some them.. fans will miss the vibe of the older veteran cast for sure. I have to say OVERALL. Not a bad addition for a 4th installment & a soppesedly "dead series". This movie was not intended to step on toes of the previous films. I like that. I even believe it was intentionally dampened considering Wachoskis contact list. The movie's only intention & design was to provide the missing filler information. Worth every penny in my eyes. Glad to own it. Look forward to the next. Their going to have to wow me the next time around. If there is a next time. It was UNDOUBTIBLY 200x better than. TERMINATOR DARK FATE which WAS a huge disappointment and a flop. I only gave this 4 stars because I KNOW it can be better ANYTIME they please.

Differant then expected , but in a good way ..... as the movie was a late comer to the series and many finalies to a series never usually complete the storyline or end up completly off track/base and fizzel in story , acting or vissuals . ~ The beginning threw me at first but easily brought you back to memories of the first three movies and decently updated the story with little to no confusion . ~ The movie was not perfect but did a nice job of earlier memories and then ending the story line in a /decent fashion as leaving you basicly satisfied having seen all for movies and not leaving you thinking ... "what now , was that it , what happened to ..(so & so ) , etc . ~ Worth the watch , worth the 4k disc puchase , and worth a couple more watching sessions at minimal (at least in my opinion) .

The story was the weakest link in this movie sadly.It was as IF they hired some homeless person to write this while they were drunk or something 😆 Sorry.I only watched for the fight special effects to get honest smh....

Great finish to an epic saga. Cheap flimsy case.

Very good image and audio quality. Could have had a larger subtitle selection. Region free. I live in Europe (DVD region 2; Blu-ray region B) and it played flawlessly. DVDs and some Blu-rays might have region restrictions.
