Sakkas Knee Length A-Line Skirt

The skirt was pretty, nice quality and exactly what I ordered as a gift for my daughter. But she indicated it was too large in the waist and needed to be sent back. Before I sent it back, I tried it on. I am a size larger than my daughter and the waist was an inch to large for me, too. No one who would wear that dress size, would have a waist that size, perhaps it was intended to be worn on the hips, but that is not the way it was styled. So, that item at least just wasn't workable.

Yes, it is large, and the reason for me is that I paid too much attention to the reviews. Also, there are two size charts. The thing is, go with your regular size. I am 5'11", 142, slim in the hips and etc., about 30" waist. Buying clothing can be a little tricky for me. I bought a large because I most often wear a 10 in clothing. Too bad, because a medium would have been just right in the waist. Still I am keeping it because it is adorable and I can tuck in a sweater or shirt. The flare at the bottom of the skirt is so cute! I love it. The shipping was fantastic. Very fast. I will definitely buy again, but a medium.

The skirt is well made - however when it came it was too big; my hips are 38 inches and i followed the review of others which said that the skirt fit tight so i bought a size up - L. Big mistake. I should've bought size small as the skirt has basically no stretch. I had to have it taken in by a seamstress. Other than the sizing issue - the skirt is well made and the colour is really nice.

This skirt ran small for me and the fabric was not the quality I expected. I was disappointed, but plan to keep the skirt to wear during winter months with tights and boots. It did not fall in the shape illustrated in the photo. In fact, it would be better if the photo was clearer--as the seams were not evident in the picture. Hmmm, wish I had the energy to pack it up and return in.

While attractive and seemingly well-constructed, this is actually a tulip skirt with a very fitted top and a flippy bottom. It does not drape (or hide) like a true a-line, so don't buy if you have any tummy at all. The skirt also runs quite small, so order up at least one size. Very disappointing, but probably not worth the hassle of sending it back, so it's a waste of $20.

Really cute skirt, nice color brown and material, except snug in the hips.. My daughter wears a 7/8, we bought a M, and she's slim, yet this was a little on the snug fitting through the tummy and backside.

I ordered a Medium and it fit in my hips wonderfully, but was too big in the waist. I could have worn it low (not at the waist), but then the length would have been below the knee and I was really looking for a skirt that was just above my knee. This will be a great skirt for some just not me.

As mentioned by other reviews, this skirt is very tight through the waist and hips and material was probably skimped by the manufacturer because it doesn't have flair as shown in the picture like you expect in this style of skirt. If you can fit into it, would be an ok casual skirt or a season or so.

Pretty skirt but unlined, fabric seems a little thin, and definitely runs a little small. It's stretchy but that just ends up being skintight in an unflattering way.

Bien, mais un peu grande et de qualité moyenne. Je ne l'ai pas recommandé plus petite. Je mesure 5.5pi et pèse150lb, j'aurais eu besoin d'un médium.
