FAN NOT WORKING, ITS A DEFECTIVE PRODUCT!
I'm a professional video editor, I received this item very much late than usual, likely because it was shipped from USA, its packing was absolutely great! It also fits my full tower cabinet very easily. But after a wait of a two weeks, when I found that the fan is not working, and it is not supplying an adequate power to my System I applied for the return a few days back. Still the return process is stuck and having no tracking response from the Amazon. So that means, I will have to wait for a few more days like a 2 weeks to get compensated. And successively another two more weeks to get another. The product hardware quality seemed to be fantastic, but it wasted nearly a month and I'm not able to work without an SMPS.

Don’t buy EVGA in India—no service center here.
I bought this EVGA product in India and later discovered there is no official EVGA service center anywhere. If something goes wrong, you must ship it overseas for warranty service, which is expensive and time-consuming.

Brilliant product but not for Indians
I bought this SuperNova Gt850 in November 2022 from Vedant Computers for 9k, the PSU is solid build and work smooth without any fan sound even under load, but the main reason I am writing this review is because I want Indians to beware of EVGA, their products are superior to.other brands but the RMA process for Indians is worst, you have to send it Acro and they send it to Taiwan which takes about a month , process is really slow and without any communication, Evga replies quickly but Acro is really slow when.it comes to RMA for EVGA, my PSU is still lying somewhere in Delhi basement, it's been 12 days since it was delivered to Acro engineering and they still have not sent it to Taiwan, and they don't even reply to you quickly. Please buy products from.Brands who have RMA service center in India, the return time is within a week.or.two but EVGA is a month or maybe even two long process. Brand and product are brilliant but RMA for Indian.is. terrible.

This is a bigger power supply, check your dimensions to make sure it will fit your application space. Pro: Fully modular so you only use what you need and have a very clean install. Awesome cables that are sleeved very well. Very flexible wires for easy manipulation. Comes with every kind of connector you will need. Evga has awesome customer service, and it has a very long 10 year warranty! Cons: only size limitations and it is not really a con. This power supply is a beast, it handles my high end gaming system with 2 R9 290's with no problem, I was able to push it to over 800watts with overclocking. Unfortunately my video cards generated too much heat inside the case, and I decided it would be better to split them into 2 systems. Now my sytem is super quiet, efficient and has plenty of GPU power to run whatever I want. Here are some facts you need to know when picking out equipment for a build. 1) Never exceed 400 watts of (video cards) power, which translates directly into heat produced, in an enclosed case with air cooling. Your main PCIE16 card will be hotter because of radiant heat from the second card. This will make card 1 throttle more to control the heat, which will equal bad performance. (This exponentially multiplies with more cards.) It will also lead to all your fans running at 100% 2+ high end video cards (above 200 watts each) I reccommend liquid cooling the GPU's. Reference "hamster fans" are extremey loud and sound like a hair dryer running, I do not recomended them. 2) It is fine to overkill your Power supply! Honestly you should double the wattage of the PS to what you think you will use. It allows for growth and overclocking if you want. Power Supplies run most efficiently at 50% of thier rated wattage and once you hit 70% efficiency goes down fast, while heat increases. 3) One 24vdc rail is the best, and most versatile for multiple video card setups because you do not waist power. 4) Fully Modular is the ONLY way to go 5) Spend the extra money on a GOLD standard power supply, you will have a super stable and reliable system because you did. 6) NEVER use power supply cables from ANOTHER power supply, because they can be wired different at the PS. USE ONLY THE POWER CONNECTORS THAT ARE SUPPLIED with this POWER SUPPLY. I know this because I have fried components before.

I build several PCs every year for friends, family, and small businesses, and this PSU has become my favorite. Since I also support the PCs I build if they break, I go out of my way to research and buy very high quality parts with low failure rates. I discovered this gem thanks to a stellar JonnyGuru review. I believe him to be an expert on power supplies and I place a high degree of trust in his reviews. I've built four PCs with this PSU this year and I love it. + Very good fully modular design. + Silent operation with or without the "eco mode" switch turned on. + 550 watts is plenty of power, even for most gaming rigs + Very good price given the build quality of this power supply. Usually the power supplies that are top rated on JonnyGuru are much more expensive + Style fits well in any case

It's a 650 watt fully modular power supply. I love EVGA and they make fantastic gear. Nothing wrong with this at all and the fact that it's fully modular made it possible to use in the Mini-ITX rig. That said, it's designed for a "small" machine. You aren't running a full-size ATX board with a power hungry CPU and an NVIDIA 4XXX series graphics card on it. Work within the limitations of the power supply and you won't be disappointed. It's quiet, has all the connectors you need and works like a champ.

Item is original and well packaged but was received very very late. My project was late because of it. I am not sure if delivery company is responsible or sender, but bad experience with delivery! but product is 10/10.

I had my second 1000 watt KingWin die on me in less than a year, so I abandoned the KingWin ship, and for only forty bucks more (and an extra 300 watts) this seemed like the no-brainer switch. I was EXTREMELY wary of the recall EVGA had back in October 2013, but it seems like a manufacturer with this kind of reputation and experience would know how to run a recall, and would also be d*mned sure they got it right the second time around. I know a warranty won't cover my equipment and data, but the 10 year warranty (which I'm sure I'll be using in about 8 years) from a company that probably won't be going anywhere (since they're one of the top mobo and vid cards manufacturers) clinched the deal. The PSU comes in a custom tailored cloth bag... meant to make you think of it like jewels, I assume. The physical unit is built solid as a rock with a nice, big, quiet fan (I definitely can't hear it over any of the other stuff in the case, especially the vid card). The exterior is covered with a sort of "hammered" finish that makes it look like a truck bed. The *fully* modular design is AWESOME. Also, the connectors (where the cables plug into the unit) are appropriately sized, unlike the KingWin plugs which are so HUGE (to refract the ridiculously gimmicky LED's I assume) that you can't thread them through your case. The EVGA PSU shipped with 1x24 ATX cable, 2x 4+4 pin EPS 12v CPU, 4x 6+2 pin PCI-E VGA, 2x 6+6+2 pin PCI-E VGA, (4) 3xSata, (1) 3x molex, (1) 2x molex + 4 pin floppy (?), and the power cord. There is a large nylon case to store the extra cables (I used all the SATA and molex, but even with dual vid cards and some other stuff, who could possibly use all those PCI-E cables?! --nice to have them though). They even throw in a bag of velcro ties to wrangle the cables. Very nice. If I have any complaints it's that the sata connectors are a little close together on the cable (if your sata devices aren't *right* next to each other, you'll have issues). I only have one sata connector left available, and no molex left over, so I guess it'd be nice to have a couple more sata/molex cables. [UPDATE] I actually had a full extra run of Sata (not just a single connection) that I overlooked, so there are actually 4 available sata connectors left in my machine. I recently purchased a USB 3.0 PCIe card that requires power via molex, so I guess I'll have to purchase a sata to molex adapter considering I am out of molex connectors that came with the unit. So far so good, but I'll definitely be holding onto the box, because there's no way something like this will last 10 years, and I definitely plan on taking them up on the warranty! FWIW, every PSU manufacturer, no matter how great, has some bad reviews. When I was researching which unit to buy, it seemed like such a crapshoot (and still does). Every single manufacturer has reviews with tales of "fried my mobo and all my hard drives!" When you're talking about something that has the power to kill thousands of dollars worth of equipment and ALL your data, a PSU is a pretty scary purchase. I personally had a bad experience with (2) KingWin, so I won't be using them any more. I can't say whether or not EVGA will prove more reliable on the whole (all of them every built), but I am certainly impressed at the onset, and the warranty at the *very least* least assures me that I won't be out the purchase price if something goes wrong. [UPDATE] Once again I have purchased something on Amazon that dropped in price three days later (fifteen bucks). I really wish Amazon would implement a purchase price safeguard. [UPDATE] Contacted Amazon within 7 days and was refunded the difference!
