The tap is fine. For the price it should wash the dishes LOL. Finger prints are noticeable and need to be wiped constantly. Not what we were counting on. It's installed or I would have returned it.

The first faucet delivered was an open-boxed item with inside packaging slit open, and was subsequently replaced. Whereas the first on was marked "made in Portugal", the replaced item had "Assembled in Mexico" on the box. On examination, the quality was on-par and the installation was relatively straight forward. It took more time to disassemble the old facet than to install the new one.Overall performance of the faucet is so far satisfactory. Some have complained about low water flow but it seems it performs to the specified 1.75 gpm, only that when it is not in spray mode there is little effect of an aerator. The operational design does seem a bit awkward, in that it has to switch to blade spray before reaching the shower mode. That means that one has to pull down the nozzle to switch so as not to splash water all over. It takes some getting used to; other than that a satisfied purchase.

I replaced an older version of this faucet. The hole in the granite countertop was 1.25”. This new faucet needed a 1 3/8” hole. Spent half a day trying to find a diamond tipped drill bit, then drilled the hole very very carefully, and then it was good.You will need pliers and wrenches, a tape measure, Phillips and flat tipped screwdrivers. I also needed a small pipe cutter to cut off the tubing of the old faucet. Big pain in the neck working under the sink to do this. Expect to need 4 hours, not including drilling the hole or the cleanup when you’re done. It’s never as easy as the instructions or the YouTube video say.Lots of parts are plastic. Hope it lasts. So far so good. It’s been 3 weeks.

Packaging was terrible. It was obviously a returned item, Amazon simply sent to us. Items were strewn around in the box. Fortunately, they were not damaged. We thought everything was there and as the existing one was leaking, we went ahead and installed it only to find the weight for retraction of the head was missing. Plumber had another one so we used it. Next time I receive a package like this, I will return it right away. As for the product it self, it functions much like our previous Grohe which was great had lasted for 12 years despite the hard water we have.
