Charger fits and works as it should for my older HP2000 laptop. Wish it had an LED to show that it's powered up. Note: it does get pretty warm, almost hot, while being used. Other than that, no problems.

I always write reviews of products when they finally quit. This power adapter worked great for just under two years. For the $12.88 price, it's great. No major complaints. I wish it had a power light to show that the adapter is receiving power, and to discharge any internal capacitors, but it does not. The cord length is fine for most purposes, but an extra foot on the computer side of the cord would have allowed me to keep the transformer box of the adapter on the floor in more situations, but it's hardly a big issue. This is a budget power adapter that works fine with no special features and you can expect it to last 18months to 2 years. FIRST 18 MONTHS OWNERSHIP REVIEW: This adapter is pretty minimal, but worked to do what most people want a power adapter to do. Power and Charge the computer (without any bells or whistles). The brick is rated to 65W so it's smaller than some of my other computer adapters (90W) which makes it nice for portability and traveling, as long as the wattage is sufficient for your computer. I regularly used this adapter in the USA (with 110v current) and in Europe (with 220v current). It worked just fine in both places. END OF LIFE REVIEW: During the past 3 months it stopped charging the battery and began to get really hot. I replaced the battery, but the box continued to get hot and occasionally still wouldn't charge the battery. Last week, it quit completely, blowing the fuse in my home when it did. These chargers never last forever, but it's good to know that after about 18 months you should consider having a spare charger on hand, especially if you notice your adapter box beginning to get unusually hot. It's never fun to have an unusable laptop due to a dead power adapter.
