Great cpu very fast system

Coming from a 8700k which at the time was over £300 at purchase. This cpu is great value for money. The 12 cores and 20 threads blow away anything you throw at it. Paired with a decent cooler the cpu at idle is just 20C and only 40-50C at full load. Even better if you can get this under £200 although it was sent from the US so it can take a bit longer to arrive.

Greetings fellow tech enthusiasts! I've upgraded from a creaky old second generation Sandy Bridge i7 to the shiny new Alder Lake i7-12700KF... And what a difference it's made. Here's what we've got: 12 cores and 20 threads make this CPU a powerhouse for multitasking and performance. Absolutely night and day compared with the 4 cores of Sandy Bridge. Overclocking? It's a breeze, like wielding a magic wand for speed. No integrated graphics on this model, but lets be honest who uses integrated graphics these days? In a nutshell, this CPU has breathed new life in to video editing (videos are rendering in minutes, not hours now, phew) & gaming for me. Yeah, it's not as fast as an i9, but it's also a lot cheaper.

Has been working well a lot faster that the older processor.

Excellent price for a top notch CPU. Have upgraded from the i5 to this i7 and I am very pleased. Doesn't come with a heatsink and fan however I am using AIO so it is no problem. Nicely boxed and labelled at Intel and well packaged and protected by Amazon. Only took a week from placing order to delivery from the USA. Very happy indeed. Also price breakdown is including Import cost and Vat. £188 makes it a bargain in my opinion.

Good performance at reasonable price. Runs a tad hotter than previous i7 6700 but AIO cooler copes well with that.

Bought this for my latest desktop build. I coupled it with an ASUS motherboard and 3080ti GPU and it performs very well indeed. Very happy.
