Great product - you get a large volume of the basing material for your money, so a great value. The texture is just rough enough to give a good impression of dirt and earth, and it is very easy to spread with a sculpting tool. The color is pretty bland, but it takes on spray primer really well and looks great when you paint it your color of choice anyways (and the texture takes a drybrush really well too!). It takes more work to put this down on mini bases than a quick dip of glue and sand, but this is INFINITELY cleaner and less frustrating to deal with. It dries pretty quickly and adheres very nicely to bare plastic without needing a primer coat - but also scrapes off easily enough in case you get some on your model. Trust me - one spill of your basing sand and you'll become Anakin Skywalker very quickly - switch to this stuff and you'll never look back!

This stuff is great! Used it for a vignette base for a jagdpanther tank model. Easy to work with, stays workable for a decent time, water clean up. Took paint well. The only con is the odor, is funky but I didn't really mind.

Great texture paint, used to paint bases for miniatures and it can still look wet even when dry(though it isn’t fully in places in this picture). Large quantity for a good price.

Nice, thick texture with a variety of material (thick brown paste along with plenty of thin 'twig' pieces mixed in) that works very well to simulate mud if you don't want to mix up anything yourself. It all has a flat brown texture which is a burnt/raw umber color. Needs a bit of drybrushing to bring out the texture but that's to be expected. Great for basing models in muddy terrain.

Vallejo products have always been solid. They need to figure out their branding so it's not so confusing, but the actual mud worked great.

Overall I enjoy this product and it works well. A few recommendations: 1. Prime with olive colored primer first. The first coat of this product and the paint in it is semi transparent. 2. Use a throw away brush or your fingers. It’ll wreck your brushes from the solids in this product. 3. Add water when using to help coverage. 4. Stipple after application of the product to remove brush lines.

Quality looking mud for miniatures

This stuff is amazing. Quick coverage and easy to work with. This is the sand color not the European mud but they work the same.

Product was exactly as advertised, only bummer was the lid had come off in transport, made some mess but not the fault of the seller; it'll work great for my projects!

I used it to add tetxure to the bases of warhammer figures. The texture effect is subtle and not as dramatic as other mud paints. The color is slightly more red then I expected but it fits my application.
