Rugged, well built, reliable, looks like a beast yet easy to carry and handle.
The BOSS of camp stoves! Very powerful 22,000 BTU’s per burner. Heats up very fast without burning. Boils water extremely fast. Looks great and very well built. The wind protection is the best!

Phenomenal stove, but design is not perfect
I have used this now for two summers' worth of camping, enough to have a strong opinion of it. At its core function, which is to heat and cook, this is everything I could hope for. Lights easily and cooks or boils quickly. The stove is also very durable- on this last trip, I opened my hatchback and the stove, which was resting on top of a cooler, slipped out and landed hard on the concrete parking lot surface, denting both front corners but doing no functional damage. This is a high quality stove that I expect will bring me years of use. From a design perspective, it's not perfect. The propane attachment hangs awkwardly off its side, so unless you have a surface wide enough for both the stove and the propane, you have to prop up the propane using something else. This is an issue if you use it at the end of a picnic table, which I normally do, or a portable camping table. Also, the lid needs to be swung almost entirely flat when opened to have the sides clear the stove to affix them. That leaves need for clearance behind the stove.

Camp Chef is Top Quality, this is top line camping stove
Bought this for our Scout Troop as we already had several camp shelf big tree-burners and loved the quality. We took it on a 10-day canoe trip and cooked all our meals on it. It fits two standard cast iron skillets on it and we bought a 1 gallon mini-propane tank to go with it. With the one-gallon tank we cooked about 10 meals for 14 people before it ran low and we switched to our backup standard disposable bottles. I love that it closes up into and easy carry and when open the wind guards slot into slits in the bottom and then latch down so when you're cooking and bump it, it doesn't fall apart.

The standard by which all other camping stoves are measured. It’s wonderful and looks great!
We love this stove. Super hot burners that can be dialed way down for slow simmer. These burners have a “lip” around the burner perimeter that almost guarantees a quick start, even with a stiff breeze. In addition, the actual wind barrier gets clamped down the metal latches that also latch the lid closed when transporting it. Two minor gripes. One is that when dialing back the gas the know wants to “spring back” a bit so it is not a singular motion to reduce the flame (1 star reduction for this). The second, though it is also a benefit as it will fit two pretty large pans at once, it is pretty large and takes up a lot of space in the car when traveling. No deduction, just an FYI.

Camp Chef Everest 2X - awesome stove
Awesome stove!! The Camp Chef Everest 2X REALLY puts out the heat! I fried some potatoes on a carbon steel skillet and had to turn the heat down since it was getting so hot. I've only used it the one time so far so I can't speak for longevity just yet but from this experience alone I'm feeling really good about it.

Reliable and Strong – Great for Outdoor Cooking
Just used the Camp Chef Everest 2X on our first camping trip — and it was amazing! Heats up fast, powerful flame, and easy to control. Both burners worked perfectly, even in windy conditions. Compact but sturdy, and super easy to set up. Made cooking at the campsite feel like a real kitchen. Highly recommend for campers of any level!

Quality
We haven't had a chance to use this beauty yet, but it's comin'! Just holding it, the quality just stands out, about any others I've seen. The burner space will allow larger pans, square or round. The lock-in wind break is a great feature 👌 along with the heavy-duty lid! I like appreciate the ability to lower the flame way down, without blowing out. He said it's real pretty and built nice. I love the structure of the whole unit. Not a thin metal at all. I like the easy clean access. It's definitely a must see, must have. I wish there was a protective case for it. It's beautiful. I'll update after I hook it up (to different size propane bottles) with the super nice, long propane line, that I purchase on Amazon. I'm the camp cook and I love nice things! It's a beautiful piece added to my arsenal!

Awesome camping grill!
This grill has an insane amount of heat available and can boil a pot of water in minutes! The whole grill is high quality and looks like it will last a lifetime. The ignitor switch is very nice and always lit the burner on the first try. It's worth noting that this grill is fairly large which is amazing for cooking, however it does not fit in a standard size tote. I recommend buying the carrying bag both for convenience and to keep it clean from any trail dust.
