Insta360 3m 9.8ft Extended Edition Selfie Stick for ONE RS, ONE X2 & X3 Action Camera

This packed down small enough to fit inside my rucksack, but extends to a very useful 3 metres. It was long enough for me to hold it level with a rollercoaster so I could get a fantastic shot of it passing by. I could also hold it down from the viewing area into a pond with an otter in it so I could get a shot of it swimming under water. It's sturdy and light weight, though it does need some strength to hold it out when it is fully extended because physics. Expensive, but worth it to reliably get awesome shots.

Actually it's a really good pole, Despite the negative reviews, I bought this last week and I managed to use it live at an event (watch the video) and I've got to say I was more than impressed with its stability and overall construction is lightweight and strong and enabled me to move with ease. But I would say that you have to be careful moving around, banging something made of carbon fiber isn't great it's not as strong as steel or aluminium so misuse will obviously lead to misfortune.

The 3m selfie stick enables me to capture faux drone like footage using the Insta360 RS 1 inch 360 edition camera and has allowed me to capture footage that is not possible using Insta’s standard selfie stick. The 3m stick is made entirely from carbon fibre which makes it super strong and very stiff. The Insta 1 inch 360 edition camera is a pretty heavy and the stick does bend a little near full extension but this is to be extended. Near full extension I make sure I use smooth and gentle movements or capture locked off tripod type footage to ensure I don’t put too much strain on it. I am not sure how the stick would cope wildly swing it around using the Insta360 1 inch 360 edition camera at full extension, and I don’t plan to find out. This Insta 3m stick is stiff and will remain at any length I choose to pull it out to. Even with the additional weight of the RS 1 inch 360 edition the stick remains in situ and doesn’t slip or collapse. There are cheaper alternative 3m carbon fibre selfie sticks on the market but the Insta360 version is the best. It may be more expensive that the alternatives but the Insta360 3m selfie stick is worth the extra, not least for the additional features it has.

I was not sure about ordering this at first due to the price and how much use I may actually get out of it. After watching a couple of videos online it made my mind up. I was worried before it would arrive that it would be too heavy and impractical for use on holiday. Once it arrived I could feel straight away from the weight (or lack of) of the box that the weight would not be an issue. I have the shorter selfie stick which came with the X5 but generally this one is now my go to. The build quality along with the overall feel in my hands is great. Is feels sturdy although it can flex if you extend it the full 3m. I have captured some great drone like footage with this where I haven't wanted to take my drone as well as some great shots on a boat, fully extended making it look like the camera is following the boat up high from the back. We also used this for parasailing and I had no issues holding it for 12 minutes in the air. I have knocked one star of for the price as it is expensive. Overall though it has given me a much broader range of options for filming some fun scenes.

This is the second Insta360 pole I have bought, the other one being the famed lightweight aluminium version. like that, this two fell apart during a shoot and in all honesty, there is no way I can't trust these 3rd party manufactured brands under the main Insta360 masthead. I simply pulled the sections open one by one as I have done for months and sure enough I heard a crack and then something fell internally to the bottom of the shaft base. Needless to say, the top section with the X3 still attached, came away in my hand. What a rubbish piece of equipment. simply don't buy the thing.

This is the best selfie stick you can buy. Despite the price the quality is fantastic. Very solid and super light due to it being made of carbon fibre. It works perfectly with my X5 camera and is also invisible. It goes to 3M however this is too much for me, but it’s nice to know I can go that far. There is minimal wobbling compared to cheaper selfie sticks.

Not happy with this. I love the Insta 360 camera, it's a quality bit of tech, however this stick is a very poor product. It's locking mechanism doesn't work properly, to twist it to lock position you need to use so much strength it feels like it's going to brake. It makes your hands black with dirt just from touching it - I'm not sure if I got a faulty product or what is the reason. After extending this to full length I look like a coal miner. For the price it's a ripoff. I would be not impressed if this cost 30 quid, let alone £109. I suppose time will tell how durable it is but the quality is rather poor so I don't have much expectations. I would actually send it back if it was not for the trip I'm going on soon, so not enough time to find an alternative. Save your money and look for a different solution.

A brilliant piece of kit! The shots I am getting!! And, it is so easy to extend and retract it - much better and practical than any of the cheaper options

Very Risky as top of the stick is joint by fevi quick type of material. My insta 360 fell while i was shooting from it. Buy at your own risk.

Der Selfie Stick ist klasse. Durch Carbon, sehr hochwertig, schön leicht sehr stabil. Auch wenn man ihn nicht auf 3 m aus fährt, angenehm zu tragen tut nicht an der Hand weh, lässt sich leicht ausziehen. Die Effekte damit sind wirklich erstaunlich die Welt aus 3 m der Höhe mit einer 360° Kamera ist wie als hätte man eine Drohne oder einen Kamerakran. Man kann sich damit richtig kreativ austoben. Der Stick hat auf der Unterseite eine Schraube Verbindung. Man kann den Stick damit auf einen Stativ schrauben auch sehr praktisch. Der hohe Preis hat mich lange abgeschreckt, aber Carbon kostet leider viel Geld.

Before that I tried Noname 3m cheap stick. It was not really comfortable. So I decided to spend some money for official stick. And it is completely different experience. This stick is easier to hold and fits my bag.
