Sony Style Cover Leather for Xperia PRO-I

The reason I bought this phone was for the camera. I also took the plunge and moved across from iphone which I have been with for 10 years! It was difficult to consider doing but now it's done I am super pleased I did! The phone is pricey, but it feels premium from when you open the plastic free box. The screen is incredible with 4k resolution and 120hz. The battery is not fantastic, which does run down on a general day although to be fair, I'm still new to it and using a lot in order to play and get used to it. If you like photography, this is a serious phone to consider. I won't be trading this in any time soon

It fits the unit nicely; it should it's Sony branded 😂 I just don't think it will be very durable and for £70 one would hope that it would be. I bought a kickstand style branded case for the smartphone it replaces and it's outlasted the device which it protected and cost a third of the price of this one. Unfortunately there seems to be very little choice of quality cases on the market for the Xperia Pro I which is a shame. ***Update*** The leather is so thin and weak that it's peeling away from the edges of the cover and I have had to apply some tape to stop getting sticky residue on my hands and clothes. One word RUBBISH. Sony need to get on and remanufacture and replace FOC.

So I've always been a Sony fan in terms of TVs playstation blu ray etc, but never owned one of their phones. I had been a fan of HTC smartphones for many years then went over to Huawei which are absolutely fantastic. So as much as I loved Sony I never really thought they did quite enough to pull me away from the other brand's..... Until now!!. I was ready for a new phone this year so kept my eyes open to see who could grab my attention and oneplus9 pro with the hasselblad was certainly in the running as I need something with great camera, but it isn't cheap so I kept looking for a while just in case something else popped up before I went back, and it did, with the Experia pro i. Soon as I see it I knew Sony had created something special and at 1600 quid it's certainly on the end of the scale that I've never spent before. But I went for it, my favourite brand has created what I've been waiting for. Upon getting it out the box this thing feels extremely premium and with a little weight but not heavy if you know what I mean, just quality. I haven't fully used it yet as I'm waiting on the case as I'm already wary about 1600 quids worth of device in my hand lol. But I got insurance for a little peace of mind. Other than build quality the screen just blew me away, buttery smooth and just so crisp I absolutely love it. And then there's the camera which is what this device is all about. I intend to take lots of photos and play with the settings as that's how you'll get the best from this. Although you can point and shoot and it'll look great, this device wants to be tweaked... And it looks insane, I've only had a little play so far, but wow. The speakers sound incredible too, so crisp and the feedback through the device feels awesome.I'm sure people are aware but I'll say it anyway. This device is not for the average person who just needs a new phone that can take a nice pic. This is for someone who likes photography and wants to take outstanding professional type shots without having to take your DSLR out your jeans.....Sony has done it and I love it. Can't wait to see what it can really do.

In the hands of my father, a professional photographer, yes, it takes a very very very nice photo, one you could have printed and put up. But as a phone, appauling. Battery life was sub half a day, charging was slow, and the screen was average. That being said the video processing was excellent and made movies look unbelievably good. The camera in the hands of someone who wants to use it as a basic camera is absolutely fine. Going back to an oppo Reno 10x zoom, a phone 3 years older and 800 pounds cheaper, was really not at all a jump. The screen was equally as good. Camera very nearly on par and battery life second to none. I highly recommend you look elsewhere for a high quality phone. It is a shame, my whole life up to more I've owned Sony Ericsson and Sony. Never been unimpressed until now. Returned because the phone was faulty and kept overheating.

I bought this phone mainly for the photo capabilities and it's a lot of fun to use especially with the shutter button and settings from Sony's alpha cameras. Normal performance is great thanks to the 888 processor, bloody brilliant. However even though this phone sports a very nice 4500mah battery, you will notice the battery get lower after a 30 minute session. This is due to the 4k display, which is nice to have, but you really won't notice it at all. This phone will get you through an entire day depending on your usage, but when you are just doing small things like going on social media or reading a book, those extra pixels don't get used much - some optimisation wouldn't go amiss. What could make this phone better is if there was an option to switch to different pixel resolutions in the settings, I don't fancy having the screen alone take up the most energy out of all the other apps/functions running in the background. Other than that, it's a really good camera with a phone attached.

I bought this phone because I didn’t want to carry my camera anymore due to shoulder pain. But when I went on a trip, I ended up bringing my camera anyway. While the phone does offer a manual mode, the image quality didn’t meet my expectations. Technically, you can do many of the things you'd do with a DSLR, but the final results just aren’t comparable. As a phone, it’s not much different from any other Android device. In fact, the digital fingerprint sensor has been frustrating—it often required a restart just to work, and now it doesn’t function at all. Do I regret buying this expensive phone? Definitely. Would I buy a newer model? Hell no.

Beau produit, belles finitions. Problème il chauffe énormément dès les 1eres minutes d'utilisation.. Limite difficile à tenir en main quand il est très chaud (environ 30 mn de fonctionnement) Très dommage car j'affectionne cette marque depuis longtemps mais là très déçu. De plus attention ce produit vient d'Angleterre et possède donc un chargeur aux normes anglaise

Buying this phone was an absolute nightmare. I ordered through Amazon global store and it arrived on time with a faulty battery. And that was when the nightmare began. I paid over a $100 to return it but amaizn couldn't send me NA invoice so it was returned to me and I lost the shipping money. Then I sent it to the UK with a friend who managed to finally send it to Amazon and they deducted a quarter of what I paid in restocking fees! I was so excited to buy this phone and because of the bad battery it turned into a nightmare. Do not buy it.

😱 À peine 24 heures d'utilisation acheté bien évidemment neuf, cet étui est vraiment une farce de haute qualité médiocre. 🔴 Une substance colle à vos doigts comme du simili-goudron, avec la chaleur il y a une mauvaise réaction chimique, c'est horrible ça colle partout. 🔴 Heureusement que j'ai payé cette étui que 38€ au lieu des 90€ actuellement , même cela est trop vu la qualité du produit. 😡 Je déconseille cet achat.
