Excellent teleprompter for professional videos and live streaming
This teleprompter is a fantastic tool for content creators. Setup is quick and easy, and it works perfectly with my smartphone and tablet. The8-inch high-definition mirror is very clear with no noticeable distortion, even with wide angle lenses. The remote control and free app make script control smooth and stress free druing recording.

Small, light, travel-ready, & well-designed
This teleprompter is great, if you need one that's portable and a bit smaller and easier to set up than the big, heavy ones. Size: It's small, light, and easy to pack when traveling. I use it with my phone, so the words only appear directly over the lens. That way, my eyes are never moving back and forth in my recordings. I always appear to be looking at the audience. I record very close to my camera. If you are further away, this issue isn't as important. Ease of use: it's easy to attach to my camera and easy to remove. The only quibble I have is when I travel. I detach the phone/tablet holder because it sticks out and is not easy to pack with it on. To remove it, you have to take out two small screws. The teleprompter comes with a tiny screwdriver that works well. But this step is a pain, and although the screws make it sturdy, the teleprompter will never drop your phone or tablet. It would be nice if the holder could attach to the teleprompter in an easier way. Body quality: It is very light, yet feels like a quality product. It feels sturdy, strong (for a plastic teleprompter), and well-made. The glass probably wouldn't survive much of an impact, so definitely do not drop it, but for the random bumps involved in traveling, the teleprompter holds up well. Mirror quality: The glass is very clear. Using it does change the white balance and brightness slightly, so be sure to attach the teleprompter to your camera lens before adjusting any settings on your camera. I've traveled all the way around the world with this teleprompter, and it didn't get any damage. I used the box that it came in, but it's a bit bulky, so I'm looking into other packing options for future trips. Remote quality: I haven't used the remote, so I can't comment on its functionality. But the remote itself is also very light and well-made. The buttons seem to be good quality.

All the cost was put into the glass. That's a good thing.
Pros: This teleprompter works. It makes a good final product for homemade videos. It works well using just a high-quality smartphone camera. It has a high-quality glass plate which, if you set it all up with care, will deliver a nice-looking video. It's designed intelligently for high functionality without high-quality materials (other than the glass). It's cheap. Cons: The reason it costs so little is that, besides the nice glass, everything else is flimsy and just barely good enough. That's not a complaint, just an observation. You get what you pay for and in this case, you are paying for a nice piece of non-reflective glass and not much else. It is surprisingly difficult to set your smartphone camera because the holder just barely attaches to the frame. With practice, the process will get quicker, no doubt. But the locking nut is seriously like half a revolution away from not being able to tighten it enough. Once tight it's fine, but unfortunately, unless you are planning to just leave it set up with the phone in place, you have to go through the delicate set-up each time. It could be much easier. Also, I would definitely recommend taking the holder off each time because if you tried to add and remove the phone into the spring clamp each time with only that lucking nut holding it in place...? I think it would break pretty quickly. Also, using a second smartphone for the prompter in front of the glass is not super convenient. Again, that's why it's cheap - you have to supply the prompter. I was counting pennies and decided to buy the Desview T2, use my phone as a camera (which works great), and go to Best Buy to purchase a second smartphone with no data plan for 30 bucks, simply to use as a tiny tablet for this purpose. This all proved to work fine. But it's tricky to use. The app works, the remote works, and the cheap phone works, but it's not easy and it takes a long time to get ready for each shoot. Also, for those wondering, the prompter holder is big enough for a small tablet only. An 11-inch iPad pro? No way. I haven't tried to fit anything but that phone into it, but it looks to me like nothing larger than an iPad mini, or maybe a Kindle Fire would fit. All that said, the Desview T2 does work as advertised. It's a great solution if you need a teleprompter and don't want to invest much more than 100 bucks (or have a second phone already). Bottom line: The video product looks good. If you understand everything I've said above, buy without fear.

Effortless Setup, Stellar Results
Design and Build: The Desview T2 Teleprompter has this nifty design that clips right onto your camera lens, which is pretty awesome if you're always on the move or switching between different setups. No bulky rigs here! It's made mostly of plastic, but that's actually a good thing in this case. It keeps it light, so it's not going to weigh down your camera or make your gimbal go haywire. How It's Been Treating Me: I've been using this little guy for around six months for video shoots where I need to move around a lot but also stick to a script. It's been super straightforward to use, a real no-brainer to clip on and off, which is exactly what you need when you're trying to juggle a million things on set. What I'm Digging: The best part? How easy it is to snap the T2 on and off the camera. It's a game-changer when you're in a rush or need to swap gear fast. Plus, it's pretty flexible with what you can slap on there—works like a charm with anything up to an iPad mini. Not-So-Great: If you're trying to use something bigger than an iPad mini, you might find the screen area a bit on the small side. But hey, it's made to be compact and easy to tote around, so it's kind of a trade-off. Pro Tip: If you're working with a wider lens, you might need to zoom in a bit to avoid getting your device in the shot. Saves you the hassle of cropping later. All in all, the Desview T2 Teleprompter is a solid pick if you're after something that's easy to use, doesn't tie you down, and keeps up with the fast pace of video production. It's not without its quirks, especially if you're hoping to use a bigger tablet, but its portability and user-friendliness are top-notch. Definitely a win for creators on the go.

easy to assemble.
I just started my YouTube channel, and this is my first teleprompter. The assemble process is pretty easy, only cost me 10mins, and then it takes another half hour to learn how to use the App and together with the remote. Overall, the experience is very friendly, it comes with two options for video recording, one is the mounting the phone, another is the camera, both ways are quite easy. A good starter! Given the price, I think it's good for someone like me.

Ni se te ocurra "limpiarlo"? - Be careful when Cleaning it!?
🇺🇸 It turns out that I bought this telepromter with the hope that it was a good product. I used it a couple of times and left it in my studio, when I returned to use it after 2 weeks it had some dust. I cleaned it with air (with my camera sensor cleaning bulb) however it was still dirty. I tried to clean it with the fiber cloth that it comes with and I was afraid to dry clean it and that it would be damaged so I put a little cleaner from my reading glasses on it and puffff... the "mirror" was damaged. I had previously read the instructions on the box well and here in the reviews and nowhere did it say that no product could be applied to the glass. My bad? Maybe, but just in case you buy this Teleprompter, be careful when cleaning it.

Compared this Inmei to the Desview (same price). Desview wins.
This is a comparison review for two mini teleprompters Inmei A10 Teleprompter https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09WF3DMWN/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Desview T2 Teleprompter (my choice) https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08CVSMSPT/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09_s01?ie=UTF8&th=1 Both of these teleprompters are in the same price range, and both are specified for cameras, mobile phones AND small tablets or mini iPads. Large tablets or iPads will not fit these. Here are the fixed variables: * Prices were the same for both when I tested * I only tested iPhone mini 13 and iPad mini 6 on these. I did not test any DSLR cameras. here are my other parameters for comparison: BUILD QUALITY Desview wins. The Desview uses 70/30 glass, which comes with a metal shield/protector. The part that holds the smartphone camera also seems sturdier and wobbles less than the Inmei. Everything else is plastic. The Inmei, on the other hand, is all plastic and uses plastic screen rather than glass. TELEPROMPTER RESULTS The Desview seems a bit better. This is hard to tell, but the image I got from the recordings of both seem to give Desview a slight edge. It seems clearer to me. This could be due to the use of 70/30 glass. EASE OF USE Inmei wins. This is mainly for one reason: The Inmei has the parts that holds the teleprompter part of the table/phone built in. With the Desview, you have to screw in and unscrew that part in. If you keep these teleprompters in a studio setting, no problem, but if you travel with them, you’ll want to remove and reset this part every time otherwise it can break. Also, you have to flip the part around if you want to switch from using a tablet or a phone. So it’s a small hassle, but not a deal breaker. It comes with a tiny screwdriver. But be careful not to lose your tiny screws! The Inmei’s phone camera port also seems a bit easier to put in and adjust to the phone’s multiple cameras. SIZE AND FIT Desview wins. I have an iPad mini 6. This BARELY fits in the Inmei. I was afraid it would break because I had to stretch out the sliding panel and push and pop the iPad in very hard. Doing this multiple times will likely break this part. So this was the deal breaker for me. The Desview on the other hand fit the iPad easily, and had room for more. Both teleprompters allows for a bit of light leakage when using a smartphone to record. Not a seamless fit. ACCESSORIES Tie. Both come with the same cheap generic remote, and various accessories for DSLR cameras (which I did not test). SUMMARY I chose the Desview, despite some setup hassle, due mainly to my iPad mini 6 fitting well.
