With Love from Russell Watson

Most of the songs on this album can be found scattered about on Russell Watson's other CDs, but gathered together, the cream of the crop is phenomenal! Watson is never shown as well anywhere else as each number here is a highlight, a perfect song perfectly sung. I have more than 900 CDs, but only about ten of them are not filed away but sit next to my CD player for frequent playing; this is one of them. It is pleasure undiluted, a magic carpet ride through some of the most beautiful songs ever written - he just hasn't got around yet to sing all the perfect songs or "I'll Buy You a Star" and "Closer than Pages in a Book" would be on one of his CDs.I cannot recommend this more highly than to say that even if you have all the cds they have chosen these songs from, you need this album. Each song shows off the one before it and the one that follows. The rhythm of a CD is just as important as the rhythm of a song, and this CD has it all. There isn't a false step, note, and each number, standards as most of them are, has something new and delicious to delight us in the arrangement or in the way in which Watson presents them.A hit. An unqualified hit.

I was expecting a certain type of sound and wanted to purchase stuff from him that I didn't already have. I should have researched for videos or something before buying.

I was introduced to Russell Watson only recently when I heard "Someone To Remember Me" after having lost my son. I was an instant fan and bought this CD. I now know I will be a forever fan.

I like everything about this album. I could, and do listen to him all day.

This music CD has a good selection of easy listening music by Watson.

What is there to say about such a talented musician? This is not a typical Russell cd; his range of talent is unbelievable and the variety of his songs gives the listener a whole new respect for him.

I was very surprised at this cd, it was such a pleasure to listen to, very easy listening and would recommend it to anyone who wants an easy listening cd to buy this. His voice changes so much with each song that you are surprised and pleased. I will be certainly loking for other cds of his.

This is a bit different to Russell's operatic work and his voice is more mellow. Some of the songs are repeats or different arrangements of music from some of his other albums but as always Russell is lovely to listen to.
