Cruise Control Switch Assembly Compatible with Toyota & Lexus - 2001-2023 - Tacoma 4Runner Tundra RAV4 Sienna Avalon Camry Corolla & ES330 ES350 GS300 GS350 IS250 LX470, Replace# 84632-34011

2010 Toyota Camry - Install Cliff Notes: Tools Required: 10mm wrench/socket Flat head screwdriver #2 Phillips screwdriver T15 Torx bit (I used 1/4" drive) 3" long - 1/4" drive extension 1/4" drive ratchet 1.5 beers of your choice (optional tool) 1) Remove the negative battery cable (10mm wrench/socket) 2) Remove the plastic trim access panels around the cruise control switch and on the opposide side of the steering wheel (flat head screwdriver) 3) Put the key in the ignition and turn forward to unlock the steering wheel. Turn wheel 90 degrees to left and remove #2 Phillips screw holding right side steering wheel trim. #4) Turn wheel back to center, then 90 degrees to right and remove the other #2 Phillips screw holding left side steering wheel trim. #5) Pop off trim. It comes off in 2 pieces (top/bottom section) #6) Behind the access panels your popped off in Step #2, there is a T15 Torx screw. I used a 1/4" ratchet with short extension and T15 Torx bit to remove these. They ARE captive, so there is no worry about dropping them. This will releave the airbag in the center of the steering wheel. I left the wires to the airbag connected and had enough slack to put the airbag on top of the steering column. #7) Remove both #2 Phillips screws that mount the cruise control level to the steering wheel and pop off the clip for the wires. (squeeze/pull) #8) Install new cruise control lever and reinstall airbag and all trim pieces in reverse order. #9) Make sure you have no leftover parts, now re-install the negative battery cable. #10) Take for test drive, This honestly took me 23 minutes start/finish including a quick test drive. I tried following a crappy Youtube video and ended up figuring it out on my own. I could probably do another one in 15 minutes or less. It's really that easy! I installed this on my girlfriend's 2010 Toyota Camry. She has 278k miles on it and drives a LONG way to work every day, so cruise control is a must when you're beating down the highway. The price was excellent because it even included a wire harness and two spare screws. I ended up using the factory wire harness and screws since they were still in good shape. BUTTTTT if you lose a screw, it's nice that you have backups. This seems pretty stout and should last a long time. She's happy, I'm happy, and it was fairly simple to install. Just make sure you remove the negative battery cable before installing it so there's no chance of airbag deployment.

This switch assembly looks exactly like OEM, and functions perfectly. I watched a quick video on it and had it installed in 15 minutes and took it for a function test drive. It works perfectly in my 2009 Corolla

Easy to install, works great

I installed it in my 2004 Sequoia in under 10 minutes. Remove the negative battery cable so the air bags are disabled. Remove the screw under the steering column, then the two screws facing you, you have to turn the wheel to reach each one separately. Pop the two pieces of plastic off, then use a thin flat tool to remove two more plastic covers, one on each side, to expose the two torx screws securing the center air bag, I think it’s a T25 bit. Loosen them all the way, they will not fall out. Pull the airbag bag assembly out, pull off the ground wire connector, use the thin flat tool to pop the yellow square lock up on the wire harness, then pull the wiring harness out. Place the airbag assembly right side up, and out of the way. Remove the two screws holding the cruise control assembly, remove the switch, and disconnect the wire plug by pushing the tab in. Install the new switch, and assemble in reverse. It worked, not sure of longevity, yet at $20, compared to $150 for an OEM, I can always buy another one down the road. I did not have any dash lights going off, just that the cruise control worked intermittently for a couple of years, until it stopped working altogether.

I installed this on my 2014 Toyota Tacoma Prerunner Base Model that has power windows & door locks but no steering wheel controls & no cruise control. The parts included with this work but there is one jumper wire for the airbag's ground that is not included and to purchase that wire is over $60.00 from Toyota - Once you have things apart (plenty of youtube videos available) you'll be able to see where the different wires go from what is in the truck and what comes with the purchase here - With that, you are able to modify/depin one of the jumpers to make one that works

Quick, cheap and easy replacement. My 3yo nephew broke my cruise control wand doing what kids do. No big deal, it’s a cheap and easy fix. WARNING: you have to remove the air bag cover on the steering wheel to access the screws. For the love of God! Please disconnect your battery for at least an hour. You don’t want to set off the airbag and have a screwdriver launch through your throat and or face at 10,000 parsecs. You’ve been warned. Other than that, it’s easy. Happy install and don’t die.

Fit perfectly and is working great on my 2017 Tundra. Easy to replace. Note: look up a few videos online to show you how and it is easy. Just make sure you disconnect your battery and wait some time before replacing. This is due to the airbag. After installing I did notice this replacement is stiffer than the original. Not sure if that is due to use over time?

purchased in August 2024. Installed cleanly and easily plugged in the unit. took it out for a test drive and the unit had trouble engaging. by the time i got home it had stopped working. absolute junk but then what do you expect for the price?

if you have a 2009 toyota corolla ce manual read this review. my corolla didnt come with a cruise control and i assumed manual cars didnt have them until one day i stumbled upon a video talking about adding it. So i looked around and i was pretty close to pulling the trigger on a rosa cruise control kit but that was $300 and this was $25. so i was like what the heck, if it doesnt work ill return it. It was such a simple install, remove negative terminal on the battery -> remove the 2 covers on the sides, use t30 bit to unscrew the airbag. only issue i ran into was having to cut the horn wire out of the existing socket and putting it into the socket that comes with this, I did that but unfortunately when putting the airbag on i broke the horn wire connection (simlpe fix) but still that sucked. Other than that it works like a charm.

Used to replace broken switch on a 2019 Tacoma. Works great. Simple to install, took less than 20 mins. Disconnect battery, remove steering wheel housing plastic covers on beach side. Remove Airbag T30 restraining screw on each side. Flip airbag/horn cover up, no need to remove. Remove 2 Phillips screws holding the cruise control switch. Unplug the cable. Installation is the reverse.
