Better straws than what comes with Camelbak.
As other reviewers have said, YES the straws are longer but in my opinion even BETTER than the ones that came with the Camelbaks. Reason is the original ones did not reach the bottom and on more than one occasion would slip off the rubber grip and would render the bottle unusable as the straw floated around loose. With this straw, the straw reaches the bottle without extra room to skip off. Yes, you can still suck up the water and still tighten the lid back on. The rubber mouthpiece is like the original ones so a perfect replacement in case you have kiddos that have chewed up the original ones.

Better than replacing the whole bottle
My first child had the same bite valve on her water bottle for years. Her younger sibling inherited the bottle and she is a chewer. She has destroyed all the straws on our plastic cups and has also gone through two water bottle tops, this one included. I hate that the silicone will basically never break down in the landfill, but the old bite valve was crumbling apart around the split at the top and leaked. I decided to buy the replacement valve instead of a whole new bottle because the bottle is still in perfect shape. The review asked about ease of cleaning. You'll need a straw cleaning brush. I find mildew can build up in the center of the bite valve and would be impossible to get out without a tiny brush. Is it hard to clean? No. But needing a specialized tool to clean it is kind of annoying and detracts from the ease.

There is a cutting guide on the back of the package...
Like almost every bad review, I received these and went "THESE ARE TOO BIG!" - Then I looked at the packaging. These are designed for TWO different types of the kids Eddy bottles - Insulated and the regular plastic - Which I assume most people have. IF you have those, you have to TRIM the straw to fit properly - Otherwise, they ARE too big and fit in the bottle at an angle. Yes, the bite valves aren't the most durable bite valves. I've replaced two at least twice in the last year. But replacements are available for a reason and they fit (if you pay attention to details) and are great!

Doesn’t fit current straw
Nice replacement. Keep in mind they don’t work with straw that came with the bottle but the new ones that comes with fit perfectly.

Straws are too long for kids cup.
The mouth piece fits great for the kids camelbak but the straws are too long. We own 10 of the 12oz kids camelbaks and they do not fit in any of them. It’s too long compared to the normal straws they come with. The “normal” straw is on the left and the new one is on the right, slightly longer. Fortunately, I bought it for the mouth piece but wanted to share for others. I guess it’s possible to cut it if you needed to but that’s up to you.

Replacement works for the bottles we have
Ones I waded through the super confusing difference between the many Eddy vs Eddy Kids vs etc... and figured out that this was what I needed I ordered them. They fit the bottles we have and are what I expected when I ordered.I have only used one so far and it seems to be doing fine, but I bought it to replace a bite piece that my son had bit through. I like that they come out of the bottles completely for a more thorough cleaning. We have two for milk for when we transitioned my son out of a bottle. The pieces are easy to clean if you have one of those little straw cleaners.

Great replacement for my daughter's Eddy bottle.
Perfect replacement. I opted to get this set with two bites and two straws because I heard the straws sometimes break. I really needed the pine valve as my daughter during one of her teething bouts ripped a gash in hers and it didn't work as well after that. Glad I now have an extra one in case it happens again. We replaced the straw at the same time and many reviewers mention that the straw is too long for their camelbak eddy. I found this to be true, however I actually prefer it. The straw runs diagonal into the bottom crevice of the bottle which helps get the very last drop of water out of the bottle instead of being centered where the little bump is at the bottom. So...it works for us. If we encounter a problem we'll cut it down a hair.

Mostly fit right
The mouthpiece fit the stainless Eddy kids water bottle I purchased for my kids a couple years back, but the straw was too long... Just cut it down with a kitchen knife and problem solved though :)
