Excellent product. I’ve used a lot of different cast iron cleaners and so far, this is the best. Deep cleans the surface very well and leaves the surface without any residue.

I originally bought this product a few years ago but wasn't using my cast iron pans on a regular basis. Other than the original seasoning process, I didn't use the pans. Over the past eight months, or so, I've been using the skillets on a regular basis. The Caron & Doucet cast iron soap is used on a nearly daily basis and does an excellent job of removing cooking residue without removing any accumulated seasoning. I also use Caron & Doucet cast iron oil after each washing and can honestly say that these two products help to maintain the fully seasoned condition of the skillets, effectively rendering the pans non-stick. It should be noted that the very little oil is needed to put an effective layer of protection on the cast iron so the bottle of oil will last a long time. Using the specified one teaspoon of soap to wash a skillet will get you through a bottle of soap more quickly than using just a few drops of oil and working it into the pan with your fingers. I'm glad these two products are available, as they make using cast iron very easy.

Love using this soap for my cast iron. It has a great smell to it and I feel like it really gets my pan clean! I pair it with the scrub and oil and my pan stays perfect 💕

Has kind of a funky smell, but seems to do a good job without destroying the non-stick qualities that you worked so hard to achieve. I got mine because I just couldn't let left over food just sit in my pans to rot. Most of the time I'm able to deglaze a pan immediately after I use it...but not always. This cleans off oily gunk.

I was looking for something to help me with my cast iron stove grills and I'm so thankful I found this. Although it doesn't take the stains away, it does help remove the 'white' residue that doesn't seem to want to come off with regular cleaning. It also leaves a nice shine on the grill. I wish I had known about this product when I first purchased my stove, as I am positive I would have zero stains on my cast iron had I used this from the very first day. I'm sure it'll work just as well on my cast iron pans (have not tried those yet). Thanks for creating this product!

This soap is good, I pre washed a cast iron pot I recently bought and after cooking with it and it worked as intended doesn’t leave a film around the pot or leave behind a chemical taste

Easy instructions on how to use. You do not need much for each cleaning so you do not go through it fast. I use my cast iron pan several times a week.

Effective cleaner without ruining the seasoned surface. Smells good too.
