Revived a 2011 MacBook pro with this. surprised at the quality. Worked Great 👍

The keyboard worked and was good for the price, but the "ESC" key was very sensitive and would react even if I barely touched it. Other than that "ESC" key being too sensitive, the keyboard worked and didn't have any other issues that I could recognize.

The number buttons 1-9 when out of my OEM keyboard. It looks and feels like the same as the OEM keyboard. I used my original back light with it and it works perfectly. I would recommend it to other buyers.

Do not buy! Most of the keys don`t work..of course I realized it after I installed the keyboard.

This is a well made keyboard. Feels exactly the same as my original keyboard to me. I'm very happy with it. You can't beat the price when Apple charges $200 to replace the keyboard in your 2009-2013 laptop. So the value couldn't be better. The keyboard is NOT easy to install. That's not this keyboard's fault though. It's how the computer is designed. You must disassemble everything. The logic board and every single piece come out of the case to replace this keyboard and then its held in place with 67 extremely small screws. I only had one small issue with this particular keyboard. After I installed it, the down arrow key felt like you were clicking it through molasses. I carefully popped the key off and there appeared to be some sort of grease in the mechanism. The parts are small and delicate but I got them apart and cleaned off and now all is well. For anyone installing one of these the first time, you need to use the "tape trick" to get the ribbon cable into the socket on the logic board. You can not push the cable in far enough, it never makes contact. you need to put some tape on the ribbon and "pull" it into the socket while you lock it down. Pay attention to how the video cable locks down and you'll see what I mean by "pulling" the cable into the socket. Basically, this is a great, well made, replacement keyboard. Works perfectly except for the small amount of grease/vaseline under the down arrow key.

The back light didn't work. But keyboard yes.
