Durable and strong for waterproofing
This membrane was easy to install for waterproofing around the shower window sill in my older house. The thickness was adequate for my needs and makes it seems quite durable.

Not waterproof without waterproof adhesive.
It not waterproof. I can still breath through it. You have to use a waterproof adhesive to meet code. If you skip the membrane and just do two layers of waterproofing adhesive, your meet most building codes. It's to heavy to install up a wall or on the ceiling with out heavy duty waterproofing adhesive or specialized tacs. Like the kind of tacs used in the old style asphalt waterproof sheets. It's only thick beaches the fibers are lose. The lose fibers come off when rolling a roller on it to roughly, or when walking on it. You have to immediately install tile or a next layer or expect to patch fiber holes.

I Will Buy It Again
I really like this for the value. It is a tad thinner than the Name Brand, for this reason I will use it everywhere except on the floor of a shower. I'll use it for niches, inside wall corners and covering the screws. This is a great way to save $$$. Also, yes you can push air through it, but you can with the name brand too. Its a water barrier yet lets vapor pass through...just like the name brand. It works, have at it boys!

Same product as overpriced competitors for a lot less
Same quality as top competitors without all the worthless line markings you pay more for. Well worth the money saving. Definitely recommend

seems to be waterproof, but it sheds/pills during installation
First time DIY shower tiling job. Went with mostly Kerdi products, but the shower is much larger than standard and both due to delivery time and cost, I threw this into my cart. First I did a water test on it and it held up great (cut a piece and bent it into a plastic container and added water, waited a couple days and the membrane barely absorbed any water and none dripped through). Second I decided to only apply this in areas that would not get direct/constant shower spray--that is near the ceiling. It seems to do okay, but after having had experience with Kerdi band, I had an installation technique (firmly running my 4" putty knife along the tape perpendicular to the tape to remove excess thinset and adhere the tape to the wall then parallel with the tape to smooth it out) that just fuzzed up the felt fur. In some cases, the quantity of fuzz made it a little more challenging to notice any bulges or bubbled that needed to be smoothed out. All in all, I am reasonably confident that this will contribute to the water-proofness of my shower because it isn't in critical areas, and I don't regret buying because, due to my inexperience with prepping a shower for tile, I would have used a king's ransom worth of Kerdi band.

Better than. Then the name brand
Works great a lot better than the shooter. Stuff Materials fairly thick and seems to hold up nicely.

Livraison un peu lente, en bon état et semble de bonne qualité

The material is a little softer than some other products. When applying with a foam float this product will “fuzz” up and create piles. Extra care should d be taken when smoothing out on the wall.
